As if she had overcome all the pain and moved towards a new light.

James slowly went to his side and sat down and gently grabbed his hand. Sofia opened her eyes and said softly, James… are you here?

A warm smile appeared on James' lips. His eyes were shining with joy. Always, she said softly, and now one more is coming in our lives.

Sophia's eyes sparkled with joy. Despite her fatigue, a smile of satisfaction spread across her face.

That night, James realized something deeply.

Raindrops were falling with a thumping sound on the windows of the nursing home. It was as if nature itself was rejoicing in the arrival of this new life.

James spent the rest of the night sitting on a chair in the corridor of the nursing home, rushed to Sophia as soon as he got up. Sophia is still sleeping, James comes and sits next to Sophia's bed.

James quietly grabbed Sophia's hand. Fear and restlessness filled his mind a while ago, but now everything is slowly calming down.

The sun started entering the house through the window. The rain stopped outside, a quiet silence all around. James didn't sleep all night.

This thought was giving him joy as well as a deep sense of responsibility. He was thinking, can he be a good father? How will she raise her child?

Suddenly he felt that he might not be fully prepared. But love will teach him everything. After some time the nurse came and saw Sofia.

Then the doctor came and checked everything and assured that everything was normal, but Sophia needed rest. James breathed a sigh of relief.

As Sophia sat up slowly, James came forward and helped him. Deep care and love is clearly visible in his eyes. Said to James....

You were awake all night… take some rest, James shook his head with a smile, no, I don't feel tired anymore. It seems that a new energy has come inside me.

Sofia jokingly said, this power will be needed for you very much. James laughed too, I know. There is a lot of work ahead... many dreams have to be fulfilled.

That afternoon James brought Sophia home. The house seemed to be much more than before. As if the walls are waiting for a new life.

Work aunt said... Sophia has to take more care from now on. James carefully put Sophia on the bed.
