In these simple moments, the greatest joy of their lives lay hidden. One evening, a light breeze was blowing. The sun was casting its last rays of light before setting in the sky. Sophia was standing on the balcony, looking at the sky. A peaceful atmosphere surrounded her. A thought suddenly crossed her mind..... Life is like a story. With time, all the mistakes, all the imperfections gradually get fixed. And if the right person is by your side, then that story becomes even more beautiful. Sophia smiled softly. She felt that she was truly lucky to have James by her side in every chapter of her life story. Just then, James came from behind and stood beside her. Without saying anything, he gently held Sophia's hand. A thousand emotions seemed to be expressed in that silent touch. Both of them stared at the sky, no words, just feelings. There was deep love in their silence. Sofia said softly, "Look, how quickly time flies! It seems like this is the day we first met." James smiled lightly and held Sophia's hand and said, "Time passes, but my love for you has not diminished at all; on the contrary, it continues to grow day by day." A strange glimmer of peace appeared in Sophia's eyes. It was as if countless memories, countless feelings, and an unwavering faith were hidden deep within those gazes. That night was unusually quiet. Silence had descended all around, as if nature itself had fallen asleep. James was fast asleep. Suddenly, a strange sound woke him up. He opened his eyes and saw Sophia lying next to him, fidgeting. A continuous moaning sound was coming from her mouth, and the sound seemed to shatter the silence of the night. James didn't understand anything at first. What to do, where to go, who to call. His chest started pounding in panic. He quickly sat up and placed his hand on Sophia's forehead, but he couldn't figure out how to calm her down. After a few moments, she regained control of herself, picked up the telephone on the front table, and quickly called the nursing home. James kept calling Sophia's name over and over, trying to calm her down. Sophia... I'm here, don't be afraid... everything will be okay. But the intensity of Sophia's pain didn't seem to be diminishing in any way. Meanwhile, the ambulance came roaring outside and stopped in front of the gate of the house. A light rain was falling from the sky, and the raindrops seemed to intensify the tension of the night. Two paramedics rushed in and, understanding the situation, lifted Sophia onto a stretcher. James stood still for a moment, a thousand thoughts racing through his head. Sitting inside the ambulance, James held Sophia's hand tightly. Fear, anxiety, and a shadow of unknown apprehension were clearly visible in his eyes. He started praying to God in his heart. Take care of him, please don't let anything happen to him. The ambulance was speeding towards the nursing home, and the sirens sounded in time with James's heartbeat. Sometimes Sophia would close her eyes in pain, and James would put his hand on her forehead and say softly, "Sophia, I'm here... have some courage... everything will be okay." But he could tell how much uncertainty there was in his own voice. After a while, the ambulance pulled up in front of the nursing home. Within moments, Sophia was being carried inside on a stretcher. James ran after them, but as he reached the door, a nurse stopped him. "You wait outside," she said in a calm but firm voice. The door closed. James stood alone in the corridor. The white walls around him, the eerie silence, and the ticking of the clock, all combined to make it seem as if time had stopped. Every second seemed like an era to him. He started walking slowly. Every now and then, he stopped and looked at the door, as if everything would be normal once he opened it. He started thinking about their first meeting, the moments they had spent together, the little smiles and the pride. Everything seemed to come together and fill his heart. He closed his eyes again and prayed. This time more deeply, more sincerely. After about an hour, the door opened. A doctor came out. James walked quickly forward, concern clear in his voice. "Doctor, how is Sophia?" The doctor smiled lightly. That smile seemed to melt away all the fear and anxiety that had accumulated in James' chest in an instant. Congratulations, Mr. James, the doctor said, you are going to be a father. This is normal pain, nothing to worry about. James was stunned for a moment after hearing these words. It was as if he couldn't believe it. This happy news had come true in his life. A new life, a new dream, was about to be added to the path of love that had been going on for so long. His eyes slowly filled with tears. He couldn't contain the joy, relief, and emotion. He felt like this moment was all he had ever wanted, all he had ever loved. After a while, he was allowed to approach Sophia. Entering the room, James saw Sophia lying in bed. She looked tired, but there was a strange, peaceful smile on her face.
