Forty-Seven Sounds of an explosion were muted by the thick walls surrounding the cell block, but there was no mistaking the way the building rocked on its foundations. Jackson, midway through a set of one-armed push ups, jumped to his feet as the cell block plunged into total darkness. Justice and Hannah bolted up from their shared bunk, their quiet conversation cut off. Hanson, sleeping on the bunk in Jackson’s cell, sat up in alarm.
