 Lizzie closed her eyes and whispered, “Not now. Things were going so well tonight.”  She opened her eyes and pasted a fake smile on her face before turning around. The smile wavered as she saw Sabrina and Tasha standing together, but she forced it back on her face.   “Hey, you two!” she said in a bright voice. “Are you having fun tonight?”  Sabrina smiled coolly at her and said, “We’re having a blast, now that we know your parents are here as chaperones.”  Tasha wrinkled her nose and said, “That must be so awkward, having your parents at Homecoming with you.”  “At least it shows they care about their daughter,” Lizzie heard Elle say from behind her and knew her friend had her back.   Sabrina’s face screwed up in an angry scowl as she glared at Elle.  “Sabrina’s parents care about h
