Elena was stunned after Dan pushed her aside and left the clubhouse. "What's wrong with him?" she thought, as she had not expected Dan to react like that.
When she saw most of the elite pack members glaring at her in the VIP room, it dawned on her that Dan had chosen Nelly as his mate the previous day. So many were looking at her like an evil woman.
Unable to bear the contemptuous glares from the pack members, Elena ran out to chase after Dan's car. But his car drove off, without sparing her a glance.
Elena stomped her foot on the ground and gritted her teeth. "Nelly, I am going to deal with you!" she growled and cried, as she went to find a cab to take her home.
Since Elena had not turned 18 years old, her father, Simon, refused to allow her to drive his car, except with a driver.
