Alpha Dan's Mate

In the royal palace of the Blue Hills Pack, the birthday celebration of the Alpha's first son, Dan Hillary was ongoing. Several guests and pack members were in attendance. Meanwhile, Dan Hillary was a 24-year-old man. He was tall, masculine with a strong, athletic body. He had sharp blue eyes, unlike the rest of their pack members who had yellow eyes. Dan was dressed in a deep blue suit and was present in the hall, where several of their pack members were in attendance. However, Dan was not interested in his birthday celebration, but his mother, Luna Zoe, had hosted it and invited everyone in the hope of finding her son's mate. "Dan, how do you feel about turning 24? Are you certain that you and Elena Robinson are going to become mates?" Leo Edward asked. He was Dan's second-in-command and best friend. Both men wore similar dark blue suits and were holding a glass of champagne in the celebration hall. Dan smiled, knowing that Elena was a beautiful 17-year-old girl from a noble beta family. Her father owned an AI company in their pack and was involved in other smaller businesses as well. "Yes, next year, I am sure that Elena will become my Luna," Dan said proudly, as he lifted his cup and took a sip from the red wine in his glass. "I am so happy for you. Finally, you will become as the alpha, while I become the official Beta of this pack," Leo said, his lips curling up in a warm smile as he stood next to Dan in the banquet hall. "That's right," Dan said, watching the guests arriving in the hall. Just then, his gaze landed on a chubby blonde girl who seemed out of place. Looking at her face, Dan could see that she was an Omega, but he couldn't tear his gaze off her. Every wealthy family and even the Omegas were open to attending the birthday celebration of Dan Hillary. As their gazes locked, she blushed and looked downward. Dan frowned, as he felt strangely about the girl. She seemed to be 17 years old too, but she was too chubby, and he does not like chubby girls. "Can't she watch her diet," Dan grumbled in irritation, but Leo heard him and asked, "Who are you talking about, Dan?" "No one," Dan replied coldly and shifted his gaze away from the chubby girl, wondering which family she was from. "Attention, everyone," the spokesperson of the alpha family, Delta Conrad Morris, walked out on the stage to gather everyone's attention. As they had gathered there to witness Dan's 24th birthday. "I am Delta Conrad Morris, the Delta chief commander of this pack. We are here in celebration of Alpha Dan's 24th birthday. Can we all take a moment to sing the lovely birthday song for him," Conrad said. He was a 48-year-old man well-dressed in a black tailored suit. His son, Ruben Morris, was also a close friend of Dan's. ♪Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you,♪ every guest in the birthday banquet hall sang the well-known birthday song for Alpha Dan. Until they wrapped it up and squealed, "Hip, hip, hip, hurray!" Dan smiled brightly as he was a kind and well-respected man. Standing at the front stage with his family and closest friends, Dan spotted Elena among the crowd of guests in the hall. Elena wore a pretty red dress that complemented her skin. She wore a pair of black shoes and looked so pretty. As soon as Dan's eyes met Elena's, he waved for her to come forward. "Thank you, everyone, for the lovely birthday song tonight," Dan said once the guests were done singing for him. "My wish is to become the next alpha and to lead the entire Blue Hills Pack to greater heights. Also, I look forward to meeting my mate, which I am certain my lovely girlfriend, Elena Robinson, is," Dan announced on stage, and everyone's eyes shifted to look at Elena as she felt like a princess at the moment. "Can Elena Robinson come here on stage and join me in cutting my birthday cake?" Dan said, speaking into the microphone as he stood on the stage where the lovely huge white cake was set up before the guests. Elena blushed and moved upward to the stage to join Dan. Through some other young women looked at her with eyes full of jealousy, while many admired her. Meanwhile, Nelly Robinson watched as her younger sister, Elena was invited on the stage by Dan Hillary. Nelly was an Omega because her mother was an Omega, but she had left her and remarried another man. However, Nelly's father had gotten married to Elena's mother, who happened to be a beta. So that made Elena a beta wolf and stronger than Nelly. Due to her family circumstances, as her father did not care about her, and her half-sister and stepmother bullied her, Nelly resulted to overeating, and she became plus-sized, but she was very beautiful. She watched as her half-sister walked on the stage to meet Dan. As Dan held Elena's hand to slice the cake, however, Nelly frowned and felt uncomfortable seeing them together. "No!" Nelly screamed out, as if she was losing her mind, and everyone in the banquet hall turned to look at her, wondering how she would dare to cause a commotion at Dan's birthday party.
