‘Aye, or maybe it was meant for those envelopes to be seen bein’ passed over to Blundell and were handed in unopened whilst the real cash was handed over separate, like.’
‘Cash that he claims was won on illegal off-course betting or in card games and it can never be disproved that that was how he came by the money.’
