Aloha Blackthorn has spent her entire life believing she was broken. Born into one of the most powerful werewolf packs, she reaches adulthood without awakening her wolf, making her an embarrassment to her family and a political pawn. To secure an alliance, she is forced into an arranged marriage with the ruthless Alpha Lucien Nightfang—a man whose charm hides terrifying secrets. On her journey to her new home, Aloha’s convoy is ambushed by the infamous Reaper, Ragnar, the feared Alpha of the rogue wolves. Known across the kingdoms as a merciless killer, Ragnar is sent to eliminate her. But the moment he touches her, everything changes. She is his fated mate. Bound by a destiny neither of them wants, Ragnar kidnaps Aloha instead of killing her, igniting a war that could destroy every pack. As shocking truths begin to surface, Aloha discovers that the greatest monsters aren’t hiding in the rogue lands—they sit on royal thrones. The dormant wolf everyone mocked may hold an ancient power capable of changing the fate of the werewolf world. Now hunted by her former allies and protected by the enemy she fears most, Aloha must decide who she can trust before darkness consumes them all. When love is born between sworn enemies, and the Moon Goddess’s bond defies every law, will they rewrite destiny… or become its next victims?

Chapter 1
Decades ago, Alpha Magnus Blackthorn, a ruthless ruler obsessed with blood purity, waged war against the Silvermoon Pack. The slaughter was merciless, leaving only one survivor—a young girl named Elara. She was dragged back to his territory not as a guest, but as a slave. That slave would one day become the mother of a child destined to change everything. It was the oldest tale in the werewolf world: the Alpha heir falling in love with the servant. Magnus’s son, Alpha Draven Blackthorn, cared little for bloodlines or political alliances. He loved Elara with every part of his soul. But Magnus refused to let his legacy be tainted by the blood of a defeated enemy. He cast Elara out as a Rogue and forced Draven into a political marriage with Cassandra, the daughter of a powerful Beta. Years passed and the old Alpha died. The first thing Draven did was search for the woman he had never stopped loving and he found her Though Elara tried to leave after learning that Draven now had a wife and three children, fate had already woven their lives together once more. She was carrying his child. For five years, they lived in secrecy in a small cabin hidden deep in the forest. There, Draven was not an Alpha burdened by duty, but simply a man who loved his family. It was a stolen happiness and stolen happiness never lasted. “Aloha, Run to the secret basement. Now.” Elara’s voice was calm, but the fear beneath it chilled the little girl to the bone. Five-year-old Aloha sat on the rug, drawing a picture of her family. The look in her mother’s eyes made her stomach twist. It was the look of prey that knew the hunters had arrived. “Mama?” She called her mother curiously. “Do as I say!” Elara seized her daughter’s arm and hurried her toward a loose wooden panel in the corner of the cabin that leads to a secret underground basement. Outside, leaves crunched beneath heavy footsteps. The scent of wolves assassins filled the room. “Papa will be back soon,” Aloha whispered fearfully as she crawled into the cramped darkness beneath the floor. “Your father isn’t here to protect us my love. You must stay quiet. No matter what happens, you must not make a sound. Promise me.” “I promise” Aloha whispered. For a brief moment, Elara’s warm amber eyes glowed with a strange silver light her daughter had never seen before. A forgotten power. The birthright of the pack Alpha Magnus had destroyed. Elara pressed a trembling kiss on her daughter’s forehead. “I love you to the moon and back.” Then she replaced the board, plunging Aloha into darkness. Moments later, the front door exploded inward. The little girl clamped her hands over her ears, but she could still hear everything. The cold interrogation of one of the assassins. “Where is the child?.” He asked. “Not when I am still alive”. Elara responded. “You won’t be for long. The Luna sends her regards” The lead assassin signaled the others to attack. Then came the screams. Through a narrow crack in the floorboards, Aloha watched in horror. Her mother fought not like a rogue, but like a true queen. Silver energy burst from her hands like liquid moonlight, hurling wolves across the room and shattering walls. It was a power Elara had hidden all her life. The power of Silvermoon royalty. But there were too many of them. When the fighting finally stopped, silence settled over the cabin. Moments later, the door burst open again. This time, the scent that filled the room was rain and fury. Aloha knew her father, Alpha Draven had returned ,. The sound that followed was the most heartbreaking thing Aloha had ever heard. The anguished roar of an Alpha who had lost his true mate. “Elara… please don’t leave me” Unable to remain hidden any longer, Aloha pushed aside the board and climbed out. Draven knelt on the bloodstained floor, cradling her mother’s broken body in his arms. Tears streamed down his face. When he saw his daughter, he looked up. The grief in his eyes had become something darker and terrifying. The man standing before her no longer looked like the loving father who carried her on his shoulders through the woods. He looked like a monster forged from rage and loss. Without a word, Draven gathered Aloha into his arms and shielded her eyes from the sight of her mother corpse. Then he carried her out of the cabin that had once been their paradise, straight into the nightmare that awaited them. Aloha did not know it then, but the war between their bloodlines never truly ended. It had merely been sleeping. And now, with the death of her mother, it was about to awaken.
