Ch. -6-

I wrap my robe tighter around my body as I feel like the temperature dropped hundred degrees.   He just sits there with a smug smirk on his lips and stares me up and down.  “What the hell?” is the first thing that comes to out of my mouth.  My brain is doing cartwheels trying to understand the situation but I have no luck.   “Darling don’t worry I am not here for you.” Daniel speaks while rising from his seat. He walks towards me and stops just inches away whispering into my ear, “at least not yet babe.”  I clock him in his balls and watch him go down like poorly built house of cards.   “What is this, you bastard? What have you done?” I hiss while cowering next to him. And I get the feeling this whole thing might not end up in my benefit. Well I never actually thought it might.  “Get up!” says a deep and most addictive voice I have ever heard. I jump back and collide into a body standing right behind me.   His hand grabs my arm and keeps me from turning around. With the other hand he shifts my blonde locks on the other shoulder. I can feel his breath on my neck and it sends new wave of chills down my body. “I’ll deal with you later,” he breathes against my skin and the rush of hot air makes my body shiver.  He pushes me aside so I can finally turn and look at him.  Nikolay Barraza is standing few feet from me and it feels like I am melting. His domineering presence is sucking the air out of me.   I just stand there dumb folded and stare at him. He is wearing three piece suit which makes no sense in this heat but who cares when he looks that good in it. His perfectly trimmed dark hair are combed carelessly over his head. The stubble makes him rugged and adds to the darkness that seems to surround him.  His dark gray eves are so captivating that I find myself staring into them while biting my lower lip.   What is wrong with me. In a normal situation I wouldn’t kick him out of bed but we are lightyears away from normal right now. I have to understand what kind of mess I am in and not stare at the first handsome man I see.   Daniel struggles to get up but if he finally gets on his feet and finishes rubbing his smashed balls he looks at me like he just won something.  “Mr. Barraza, I delivered her just like I promised,” Daniel says with a slick impression.  He delivered?? Asshole! I take a step forward to give this jerk a piece of my mind but I don’t get far cause Goliath yankes me back and motions to stay quiet. Like what the hell?   I know I should be scared but this whole thing is so ridiculous that I can’t even believe it is really happening. It’s like some cheap reality tv that will be shut down after first failed season.  “Actually you did the bare minimum but I admit you weren’t totally useless,” Barraza walks into the room which I guess is his office of some sort. He takes the suitcase that was lying on his table and hands it to Daniel and says, “leave!”  Daniel grips the suitcase and smiles like a five year old on Christmas morning, “Thank you Sir, will you let me know when I can come and collect her?”   “WHAT?” I snap my head up and look at them with bewilderment. Why are they talking like I am a puppy who got dropped of at the vets.  “LEAVE!”
