 It is like staring contest between the three of us.   I understand they want me to speak first to see where I stand and how to proceed with all of this, but I have no words, no thoughts, just my brain melting in my skull.  “We don’t know how any of this is possible, but somehow it is,” he speaks from across the room.   I turn to look at Barraza with wide eyes asking questions I can’t put into words.  “We know as much as you do,” he says with hint of sympathy in his voice and his hand rubbing up and down my forearm for comfort.   “I don’t understand,” I whisper to him as if I am to blame for this turmoil in front of us.  “Let’s sit.
