Chloe took the tags off an overwhelming amount of clothes as she put them in the washer. David had gone overboard and bought them too much stuff, but considering they didn’t bring anything with them, she didn’t argue at first.
Then he’d bought nearly the whole toy aisle and was currently upstairs putting a spare bedroom into a little girl’s dream room. She didn’t want this; it was so good for them, too good. What would happen when they left? Sadie was going to be too attached to David.
