Luro’s POV A groan escaped my lips and I was made aware of the stiffness in my body. It was as if someone had frozen my arms, legs and even my neck. I couldn't move at all. With a soft groan, I clenched and unclenched my fists, in the hope to get rid of the numbness. My eyelids felt heavy and it took me some effort to pry them open. The first thing that came into view was the ornate chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It was shaped like an inverted lotus and had slots for hundreds of bulbs. ‘There is no chandelier in my room,’ this thought pierced through the dense haze that clouded my mind.
