The beginning
This story is based on a true tale. There was once a little girl named Summer, she was always happy no matter what. She was even filled with joy, when her grandpa died, and because of that most people thought she was heartless. She never knew why no one liked her, but the day came when she finally cried. Yes this is my story. It was my birthday. I turned fifteen and my only wish was to go to the movies with my dad. After a lot of convincing I finally got my dad to say yes. We eventually got in the car, throughout the whole ride there my dad was silent. When we had arrived my dad seemed upset to see such a long line. There were so many people that I'd thought we'd never get a seat for just about any movie. After what felt like ages we finally made it to the counter, the man sitting at the counter seemed quite odd, but I didn't pay it any mind. The odd man asked my father, " What movie are you here to see?" My dad answered, "Whatever movie you'd recommend." The man stretched out his arm with the tickets and said in a low tone, " be careful this movie could be earth shaking." My dad laughed and grabbed the ticket, while handing the man the money for the tickets. Before leaving my dad said to the man, " I think I can handle a little scare." We then made our way to the theater. Once I stepped into the theater I had become so excited, to the point I ran to my seat and sat down. I watched the movie Enthusiastically and I was about to laugh, but then I saw the look of confusion on my father's face and closed my mouth immediately. I tapped my dad on the shoulder and asked him what's wrong, but then when the ground shook right beneath our feet. I grabbed onto my dad in a panic, he looked at me in confusion and asked “what’s wrong?” I felt my heart in my ears, I was frightened “the ground shook." I muttered as loud as I could. My father stuttered, " I think what the man said might have shooken you up, everything is fine." I just nodded my head and continued to watch the movie but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. I wanted to ask my father if we could leave but I couldn’t, my father paid so much for these tickets. If I did that all the money my father spent would have been for nothing. I sat and finished the movie, but to my horror the ground began to shake again but this time it felt different. The ground started to shake rapidly and it broke to pieces every piece fell into the ground being swallowed up. I was so scared that my hands started to shake. At that moment I did not know what to do, so all I did was sit there. The walls started to cave in, pieces of walls started to crush people all I heard was screaming. Tears started to fill my eyes, so I had shut them so tight that not one tear could Escape. After I was hit in the head by a small piece of wall, I curled into a ball and put my hands on the back of my neck. I sat there through all the pain and tried my best not to scream, when it was all over my back was bleeding so much that I was covered in my own blood. When I got out of my chair my vision was blurry and the world around me seemed to spin. With all my strength I looked for people to help me, but the only thing I could find were crushed bodies. The sight of those bodies sickened me, it made me feel worse, so I looked away from the bodies and saw someone. I cautiously walked towards that person, to ask for help, but when I touched the person on the shoulder, what had greeted me left me Petrified. Its skin was peeling and when I saw blood drip I looked up at its face. The eyes were nothing but empty sockets and it had a big bloody smile on its face. I wanted to run but I could not move. It just watched me for minutes or hours. I didn't know, but when I was finally able to move. I ran faster than I had ever in my entire life but the thing was still behind me mocking me and taunting me. When I got out of the theater I saw a*****e and ran into the store with everything I had left. Once I was inside I'd went to the counter looking for someone, but all I was met with was nothing. Since I worked in a*****e like this I went behind the desk to find the keys to lock up the store. When I'd found the keys the bell on the door rang, I didn't know who it was, but since it was a*****e it must have been a customer. I stood up, but what I was met with was not what I had thought, it was the thing from earlier. I ducked down hoping that thing didn't see me, then I'd realized it had no eyes, maybe it relied on sound. Even though I knew this I was still scared to move my breath got caught in my throat and I was shaking uncontrollably. I wanted to leave but I was too scared to. I sat there for so long that I was dozing off, but every time I heard a sound I was jolted awake. At some point I became so anxious that I stood up and started to slowly walk towards the door trying not to make a sound. I didn't know what came over me, but I was glad that I got up. I became so focused on my achievement that I didn't see the can in front of me. I had kicked the can and the thing came rushing at me, I screamed at the top of my lounges and ran out of the store sweating like a mad man. I didn't know what else I could do, all I did was keep running. I ran for so long on adrenaline, by the time I finally stopped I realized just how much blood I was losing. My vision became blurry and I started to sway. I tried to stay on my feet, but after a while I hit the ground and everything went black.
