Ava and Roger are asleep on the couch. Roger slowly opens his eyes to find the TV still playing, he wakes up Ava. "Hey Ava, I don't think the Hunter is finding us tonight, should I take you home?" Ava looks at Roger and kisses him gently, "I feel safe here, can I stay the night?" Roger lifts Ava off from the couch and carries her to the bedroom. Roger lays her on the bed and they kiss passionately, Ava removes her top to reveal her breasts and she rolls Roger over and she sits on top of him, they make love as Ava reaches her c****x, her wings unfold and almost fill the room.

Jessica is at home, laying in bed alone. Jason was not himself tonight and only stayed a while. As she lays she can't help but think about Roger and the other woman. "He was acting very strange as well, why did he just walk away like that?" Jessica closes her eyes and tries to fall asleep but memories of Roger are keeping her up, she remembers the day they first met at her workplace and when he asked her out. She remembers the first night they made love and how gentle but firm he was. "I can't leave things like this I need to speak to him, I need to know why he acted the way he did, I think I will call him first thing tomorrow morning."

The next morning Jessica is getting ready to go to the office, she dials Roger's number, it just goes to voicemail, a sense of disappointment comes over her. "Maybe he doesn't want to speak to me, maybe that's why he walked away so suddenly last night, I must have really hurt him." Jessica is at work and constantly checks her phone to see if Roger has returned her call, she tries calling once again, still no answer. She is so focused on Roger that she has not thought of Jason once the entire day. "I think I'll go around to his place tonight and clear the air, I need to make sure that things are at least ok between us, I know he has moved on and I can see that he is happy." Her phone rings and she smiles thinking that it's Roger, she looks at her phone and is slightly disappointed to see Jason's name flashing on her screen. "Hi Jessica, I just wanted to apologize for how we ended last night, I just wasn't feeling very well." "That's ok, I needed to rest anyway." "Can I make it up to tomorrow night, maybe take you someplace fancy?" "That sounds like a good place to start." "See you tomorrow night?" "I can't wait."

It's the end of Jessica's workday, she makes her way to her car, unlocks the door, and takes a seat in the driver's seat, as she starts her car she thinks to herself. "Should I just show up at Roger's place unannounced, he could be with that woman. I should just go, he might not even be home." Jessica drives off and makes her way to Roger's house. Jessica arrives at Roger's building, she feels a bit nervous "Why do I feel like we are going on our first date, could I still have feelings for him?" Jessica walks up the stairs towards Roger's apartment every step makes her heart beat faster and her legs grow weaker, she gets to his door and knocks. She can hear someone walking towards the door. "I hope the other woman is not here." she thinks to herself. The door opens and it's Roger standing in the doorway "Hi Jessica, what are you doing here?" "I tried to call but your phone was on voicemail the whole day." "I'm sorry, I have been having issues with my network provider for the last few days, what can I do for you." " I just wanted to check if everything is ok with you, you and your friend acted very strangely last night." "Where is your friend?" Roger looks outside and down the aisle, he lets Jessica in and gestures her to take a seat."

"I'm seeing him tomorrow night, I wanted to come to talk to you tonight. I know we are not together but I've been thinking about you all day and I just wanted to make sure you're ok." "Jessica, your friend is a hunter, he hunts werewolves and other unnatural beings." Jessica looks at Jason with an astonished look on her face. "No, he is a detective, he was investigating the killing of the two men that attacked me and my friends, but he hasn't mentioned that investigation in a while. he last told me they hit a brick wall with it and what do you mean other beings?" Jason goes to sit down next to Jessica. "This world is many strangers and more beautiful than you ever thought Jessica, there not just werewolves, but minotaurs and fairies and other creatures that we thought were just stories but they are real." 'That woman you were with is she a being?" "Yes she is a fairy, they called Fae. She has wings hidden under her clothes." "Wow that sounds amazing, but why do you call Jason a hunter?" " He is part of a group of people who hunt people like us and kill us, they don't believe we belong on this earth." "No, Jason is a sweet guy, he is not a cold-blooded killer." "That chain he wears that was glowing last night when you met us, that is how he tracks us down. The glow also causes us to become aware of him and it brings with it a feeling of anxiety and fear." As Roger is speaking to Jessica, a feeling of dread falls over him, he looks around him and he sees Jason standing on his balcony looking into the apartment. Jason lifts his crossbow and points it through the window at Roger as he prepares to fire.
