Rose's world was reduced to darkness, a suffocating void that seemed to crush her from all sides. She felt like she was drowning, unable to breathe or escape. And then, a faint glow began to emanate from somewhere in front of her. The light grew brighter, illuminating the faces of the figures surrounding her. They were all identical, their features mirror images of Rose's own. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized the horrifying truth. The figures began to close in, their movements slow and menacing. Rose tried to defend herself, but her arms felt heavy and unresponsive. The figures reached out, their hands grasping for her. Rose felt a scream building in her throat, but it was frozen in place. Just as all hope seemed lost, a loud crash echoed through the room, followed by the sound of shattering glass. The figures froze, their heads turning towards the source of the noise. Rose took advantage of the distraction, using every last ounce of strength to push the figures away and make a run for it. She sprinted across the room, her heart pounding in her chest. But as she reached the door, she realized it was locked. She was trapped. The figures began to move towards her once more, their faces twisted into cruel smiles. Rose's world was reduced to a single, desperate thought: escape. She had to escape, no matter what it took. But as she frantically searched for a way out, she realized that she was completely alone. The figures closed in, their smiles growing wider as they sensed their prey's desperation. Rose's breath came in ragged gasps as she pounded on the door, her fists bruising against the unyielding metal. Suddenly, a faint hum filled the air, growing louder with each passing second. The figures paused, their heads c****d to one side as they listened to the sound. Rose's heart skipped a beat as she realized the hum was coming from the other side of the door. It was a sound she recognized, a sound that filled her with a mix of hope and fear. The hum grew louder, more insistent, and the figures took a step back, their faces uncertain. Rose sensed her chance, and with a surge of adrenaline, she threw herself at the door, pounding on it with all her might. The door shuddered, the metal groaning under the pressure. And then, in an instant, it swung open, revealing a dimly lit corridor beyond. Rose stumbled through the doorway, gasping with relief as she emerged into the unknown. But as she looked back, she saw the figures watching her, their faces twisted into snarls of rage. The hum grew louder still, and Rose felt the air vibrate with energy. She knew she had to keep moving, had to find a way out of this place before it was too late. With a burst of speed, she sprinted down the corridor, the figures closing in behind her. She could hear their footsteps pounding the floor, could sense their hot breath on her neck. And then, just as she thought all was lost, the corridor vanished, replaced by a blur of color and light. Rose felt herself being lifted off the ground, felt herself being propelled through space and time. She screamed, her voice lost in the vortex, as the world around her dissolved into chaos.Rose's scream was swallowed by the vortex, her body stretched and compressed in ways that defied human endurance. She felt her molecules being torn apart, reassembled, and rearranged in a maddening dance of quantum chaos. Time lost all meaning as she tumbled through the void. Seconds stretched into eternity, and eternity collapsed into a single, fleeting moment. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the vortex dissipated. Rose found herself standing in a vast, empty space, the walls and floor a dull, featureless gray. She stumbled forward, her legs trembling beneath her. Her mind reeled with the aftermath of the vortex, her thoughts scattered and disjointed. As she moved, the gray walls began to take on a strange, shifting quality. The surface rippled and distorted, like the surface of a pond struck by a stone. Rose's heart quickened as she realized she was not alone. Something was moving, lurking just beneath the surface of the gray walls. She spun around, her senses on high alert. The walls seemed to be closing in on her, the ripples growing more intense, more menacing. And then, in an instant, the walls exploded outward, revealing a figure standing just beyond the threshold. Rose's breath caught in her throat as she beheld the figure's twisted, nightmarish form. The figure loomed before her, its presence seeming to fill the entire space. Rose's heart racing, she took in the twisted, elongated limbs, the bulging, pulsing growths that seemed to writhe and twist like living things. The air was thick with an unspeakable horror, a sense of creeping, crawling dread that seemed to seep into Rose's very bones. She tried to step back, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot. The figure began to move closer, its limbs unfolding like a twisted, nightmarish puppet. Rose's breath came in ragged gasps as she beheld the figure's face, a twisted parody of human features that seemed to leer and mock her. She felt a scream building in her throat, but it was frozen in place by some unseen force. The figure loomed closer, its face inches from Rose's, its twisted, pulsing growths seeming to reach out and wrap around her like living chains. And then, just as all hope seemed lost, the figure's face began to change. The twisted, elongated features seemed to melt and flow like wax, reforming into a face that was horribly, shockingly familiar. The face that stared back at Rose was her own, twisted and distorted in a macabre parody of her own features. She felt a jolt of horror and recognition, her mind reeling with the implications. The face began to change again, the features melting and flowing like wax. Rose saw glimpses of other faces, other people she had known and loved. Her mother, her father, her friends... all of them were there, their faces twisted and distorted in a madman's canvas. Rose's scream was finally unleashed, echoing off the walls as she stumbled backward, tripping over her own feet. She fell hard to the ground, the wind knocked out of her. As she struggled to catch her breath, the face loomed over her, its features shifting and flowing like a living thing. Rose saw her own face again, and then it was gone, replaced by a void of darkness that seemed to suck all the light out of the room. The darkness closed in around her, a suffocating shroud that threatened to consume her. Rose's world was reduced to a single, terrifying thought: she was being erased. The darkness deepened, a heavy, palpable presence that pressed down on Rose like a physical force. She felt herself being pulled apart, her molecules disintegrating into nothingness. A faint, flickering light appeared in the distance, a candle flame that danced and trembled in the darkness. Rose felt herself being drawn towards it, her essence coalescing around the fragile, flickering spark. As she reached out to touch the flame, a voice whispered in her ear, its tone low and menacing. "You shouldn't have come here," it hissed. "Now you'll never leave." Rose's hand closed around the flame, feeling its warmth and light flood through her. But as she looked up, she saw the face of her tormentor, its features twisted in a snarl of rage and hatred. The face began to change, its features melting and flowing like wax. Rose saw glimpses of other faces, other people she had known and loved. But they were all distorted, twisted into grotesque parodies of their former selves. The flame in her hand began to flicker and dance, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Rose felt herself being pulled into a world of madness and terror, a world where nothing was certain and everything was possible. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, everything went black. The flame extinguished, plunging Rose into a darkness so profound it seemed to have a life of its own.The darkness was absolute, a living, breathing entity that wrapped itself around Rose like a shroud. She felt like she was being suffocated, crushed by the weight of her own fear. And then, a faint humming noise began to build in intensity. The sound was like nothing Rose had ever heard before - it was as if the very fabric of reality was vibrating with an otherworldly energy. The humming grew louder, more insistent, until Rose felt like her very cells were being shaken apart by its power. She tried to scream, but her voice was lost in the cacophony. Suddenly, the humming stopped. The silence was oppressive, a heavy blanket that suffocated Rose. She felt like she was holding her breath, waiting for something to happen. And then, a faint, flickering light appeared in the distance. The light grew brighter, more intense, until Rose felt like she was being pulled towards it, helpless to resist its power. As she stumbled forward, the light enveloped her, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Rose felt like she was being reborn, remade into something new, something different. But as she looked down at her hands, she saw that they were not her own. They were twisted, distorted, as if they had been melted and reformed into something grotesque. Rose's mind reeled in horror as she realized that she was no longer herself. She was something else, something monstrous.
