THE PROMISE: THE BOY was walking towards his secret place when a little girl caught his eyes. She was sitting under the tree while looking to the sky. The boy thought for moment then finally decided to approach the girl. He silently sat beside the girl and look into the sky. "It's beautiful right?" He started. The little girl look at him that took away his breath. Those eyes.. It's beyond beautiful.. "Yes. It is." The girl smiled at him. "You have a unique eyes. It's... beautiful." The girl shyly looked down. The boy don't know but he had the urge to touch the little girl's chin and that's what he did. He touch her chin, lift it up and made her look at him. He mentally chuckled when he saw her blush. "You're so cute." The girl blush even more when he said those words. "T-thank you." "What's your name little girl?" He ask. "M-Myracle" "Hey, are you scared to me?" He suddenly feel nervous knowing the little girl might've known him. "N-No. I'm just shy." He smiled. "No need to be shy." "W-what's your name?" Curiosity filled the little girl's eyes and she's so adorable that he want to pinch her little chubby cheeks. "My name is Ace, cupcake." "Cupcake?" "Yes. I'm going to call you Cupcake." "T-then what should I call you?" The girl finally look straight into his eyes. "Call me Ace. You're the only one who can call me that." "Ace....." His heart beats when she call his name. It feels so right. So good.. "That's right Cupcake." They talked together and he can't deny his feeling any longer. He's sure that he loves her.. And I'm gonna make her mine.. soon.. He thought. "How old are you Cupcake?" He ask. "I'm 8 years old turning 9 this month." The little girl smiled happily and that made him smiled too. He pulled her closer to him and let his Cupcake lean on his chest. "I'm 4 years older than you Cupcake. I'm already 12 years old." "Should I call you 'kuya' or 'Brother'?" His face darkened hearing those words. His breath became rigid. "That, Cupcake will never happen. I will never be your 'kuya' or 'brother'." The little girl look at him and pout. " You don't want me to be your sister? Does that mean you hate me?" His heart ache when he saw her tearing up. He immediately wiped off her tears that was about to fall. "Cupcake, I don't want to be your brother because I want more than that." She eyed him suspiciously. "You want to be my Papa?" He chuckled at her cuteness. "No Cupcake. I want to be your husband." "Husband?" "Yes. When you grow up I will be your husband and you will be my wife." "Like my Mama and Papa?" "Yes. So, you must grow up fast." "If I grow fast, I can see you all the time?" "Yes Cupcake. You can stay with me.. forever and you'll be mine.. soon.." he whispered under his breath the word 'you'll be mine'. "Then I must grow up fast." The little girl smiled joyfully not knowing what he meant by those words.. "Promise?" "I promise." He pulled her closer and closer and without a words, he gently kiss her in the lips. After that he whispered in her ears, "You are mine only Cupcake. And that kiss will sealed our promise together." That was the time when they promise to be together when they grow up. 9 years had pass and he was still finding that little girl who made his heart beat. But the question is, will they find each other? Will they continue loving each other? Or just like season, their love for each other will change.
