Chapter 30- All Riled up

We were taking our time in what i call window shopping since apparently the specific boutique was quite a distance away. Settling into pleasant chatter with Gezara put my mind at a little more ease. I was so glad she got to come along this time, i was basically using her as a buffer. The rising tension between Theo and i became suffocating at breakfast, i have tried multiple times to speak to him and a cold shoulder and grunt is the extent to what i received. 

Stopping at a large three tier fountain with a large base, the clear water gave a lavish view of the multiple coins littering the pool. A wishing pool i thought to myself and i couldn't bite back a smile, as Teo pulled two gold coins from his pocket, handing me one and the other to Gezara.  Motioning to the fountain with a gleam in his eye he waited for us to make a wish. I closed my eyes tight wishing for the one thing i wanted so badly.

 "This is the center of the city in our realm. We like to call it 'Bizhula Tsentur' meaning jewels center in English. All of the shops will make a direct circle back to this spot, one of us will be here before dark to meet you. So you ladies have all day to explore, however please do not leave the area. All of your meals and shopping will be paid once your finished so enjoy your day. We will escort you all the way to the boutique before we part." Teo seemed to grin widely down at us as we giggled like school girls and jumped up and down. He stepped aside motioning for us to continue down the street. 

"We are here Princess" Theo's voice was gruff and short as he held open the door to the boutique for Gezara and I. Hm i suppose he does have manners i thought inwardly. "Thank you Theo it is nice to know you do posses some form of manners." i tried to sound sweet but the sarcasm dripped from my tongue before i could stop it. He growled as a response but before he could retort Teo stepped and and took my hand in his larger one"Util we meet again sladost". He kissed my knuckles as he pulled a growling Theo along behind him.I glared at his back wondering if he just called me a dirty name and turned back into the store. 

A Girly laugh and a sharp elbow to my side had me wincing and glaring at Gezara as she spoke. "Well Well at least one of the twins fancies you. Whats the deal with the other one?" i shook my head in silent response and shrugged. Gezara nodded and we turned to the counter to check in for our reservations. Before i could announce our names a middle aged woman in a black stripped suite greeted us. "Damis" She bowed her head and motioned for us to follow her.

She led us to a small room in the back of the store, the black accents along the the multiple hanging chandeliers gave a fancy vibe. Gezara and i shared a glance as we continued to take in our surrounding. There were three large mirrors arranged in a half circle with a large pedestal in the center. A petite woman no taller than five feet walked into the space, her nude hills clacked against the marble floors. "Damis, welcome to Adimirs' Boutique! I am Adimir and i look forward to serving you. Now the Luna Queen has already picked the colors and dresses so i will be checking the sizes so i may alter them to fit you. " Adimir walked around me first with her  chin resting on her hand, i watched as she nodded then scrunched her nose as she made her way back to my backside. 

"Skupi az , i may have to add fabric to the back. your backside is rather larger than i expected." Admir was shaking her head as she moved to Gezara next, inspecting her as she did me. She nodded her head in approval as she clapped her hands. I was still stuck on her insult, i mean she did have a point, but still the say i had a big ass was just plain disrespectful. 

'EYES AND EARS EVERYWHERE MIND YOUR TONGUE' Sadie reverberated though my head as i closed my smart comment off at the woman.

At the clapping of Adimir multiple ladies emerged from behind a black curtain i though to be a wall carrying fabrics, lace, pearls and multiple other seamstress items. I rolled my eyes when she motioned to the pedestal "Printsesa if you would please step up, i would like to start with you for the alterations needed will take me some time."

After she poked and prodded all along my breasts and waist i was getting aggressive. She had let the needle slip multiple times stabbing me, i was having a hard time restraining Sadie from taking over and ripping her head off. When she reached my ass she shook her head speaking in Bulgarian as her assistants ran around taking turns taking notes. Luckily she didn't let the needle slip this time and it only lasted a matter of seconds before she clapped again.

I stepped down and flopped ungracefully down onto the white tall back arm chair. A young girl brought over a tray with cheese, fruit and a glass of water as i thanked her she smiled and bowed. I looked back over enjoying the light snack as Admir fussed over Gezara, watching as she flinched every time the needle was used. Ha serves you right for laughing the whole time i was being harassed along with the comments on my backside. I couldn't help think how i was more than ready to share a mindlink with her, i smiled thinking how much fun we would have once she was a wolf. 

Before long we were dismissed and told the dresses would be sent to the Alpha Kings home once the proper alterations were made. We decided to explore the city and find a bakery, i was craving some good sweets. Walking down the street multiple eyes darted our way and i noticed how Gezara wouldn't meet anyone's gaze. I patted her back "Soon Gezara, these wolves will bow to you." i said it so low it was barely a whisper as she nodded to me letting me know she heard me. 

Sitting outside of our chosen bakery we ate our cupcakes in pleasant conversation over tonight's festivities.  I wonder what our dresses will look like she completed, though her mouthful of icing, i laughed as i came out more " fwonfer faut a shress swiff fook swike" She scowled at me and swallowed.

We talked for a few more minutes before realizing it was starting to get dark. We made our way back the fountain as instructed to wait for one of the princes to escort us back. "Sar, what did you wish for?" Gezara's voice was quiet as she looked ahead at the fountain. "If i told you i would have to kill you." I teased as i pushed her arm slightly.

"What did you wish for?" I asked as she smiled but didn't look at me. "Hmm twinkle twinkle little snitch, mind you business nosy b***h" She fell back laughing as i stared at her mouth agape. Not only did she just seem to cast a spell she also insulted a princess in public, however i couldn't help the immense laughter that left me too.

 "I was only joking Sarah, i read it on the t'shirt across the way and couldn't help it." She shrugged as she pointed to a*****e.  "Well looks like you all had fun today." Teos voice startled me as he was right behind me. I jumped and fell back into him as we both crashed into the ground. "ooph" as i hit his chest and he responded "Well i wasn't aware you wanted to wrestle sladost" he teased as i scrambled off him. 

"Look i don't know what that means and it sure as hell sounds like your calling me a slut!" He tensed and stared at me mouth agape as he leaned on his elbows."No no not at all! it means sweetness in Bulgarian. I apologize Princess Sarah, i didn't not mean to offend you at all. I call you that because your scent is sweet like honeysuckles and vanilla." He stood up from the ground and took my hands in his before i could realize what he was doing. He kissed my knuckles again" I could never insult such a beautiful and powerful she-wolf especially one i know can castrate me instantly."

'SMART WOLF' Sadie growled in my head as i laughed out loud at his comment. "Well i suggest you pick i new name your highness." He nodded his head letting me go and turning to Gezara "Are you ready to return to the Villa? Our dinner will be served soon." We followed him back in comfortable silence as multiple people stopped and stared at us as we walked. I ignored there questioning stares as best i could lacing my fingers though Gezara's in a attempt to comfort her nervousness. 

Getting back to the Villa my mother linked me "Sarah we will all get ready in your room tomorrow" I linked back "Okay mother." Taking the stairs quickly i reached my room and raced to the bathroom to shower and get undergarments as it was almost time for dinner. Once cleaned i decided to call Millie and check up on things at home. 

"Sarah! My sister from another mister what are you doing?! How is the hot desert twins?" i laughed as i sat on my bed with the phone to my ear. "Oh Millie its fine here, Theo seems to have a serous hate for me though. I can't get him alone to ask him why but part of me doesn't even care." I sighed "How are things at home anything new?" 

Millie went silent at that and it troubled me, she was never quiet and i was starting to freak out. "Millie what is going on? is there an attack? did someone get hurt?" A thousand questions and scenarios went through my mind as is thought of all the things that could be wrong. 

"Sarah, no nothing is wrong we are all good here" i could hear the tightness to her voice as she faked sincerity " We are getting ready to party tomorrow but most of all missing my sidekick. How much longer are you going to be gone?" Her voice strained at the ends. 

"Mills ill be home after new years i think. Are you sure there is nothing wrong?" i asked still concerned at her lack of response to my questions. "Yeah im sure, just a lot has happened since you left and i'm just ready to catch up with my best friend. Who almost dies then comes back and kicks some serious ass. Like everyone is talking about you and how you stood up for women's rights. It really inspired people, you know."

I laughed" yeah so i heard here too" i laid back on my bed staring at the ceiling "Hey Mills did you know i got a new sister? Shes a half breed, she was the witch at school i bumped into that time." I heard her sharp intake of breath "Yeah i heard, didn't know she was witch though, pretty cool to have such a powerful ally too." Millie countered

She always one to speak the obvious, got to love her no bs attitude. Gezara came into the room holding a dressy skirt and blouse "Hey mills i gotta go, Gez is here to make sure i'm presentable for dinner with the snobs you know, but i have to say i like the Luna Queen here, shes feisty." 

I heard her giggle as she said "That's you Sarah, you don't meet a stranger for long without them loving or hating you straight away. I miss you girl and have a safe time, if i don't talk with you tomorrow then Merry Christmas. "

I Smiled "Of course you'll talk to me tomorrow! its your birthday after all, i wouldn't forget that." We said her goodbyes as i made a mental note to call Max later and wish him happy birthday too. Getting dressed didn't take long and Gezara and I were out the door and downstairs in a flash. Sitting in the huge dining room again the unease still there from this morning when Theo walked in ignoring me as usual. He as always glaring at me or wouldn't look my way at all, i swore if he kept it up i was going to ask Gezara to curse him. 

Dinner was coming to an end and i was seriously fed up with the mean eyes from Theo. While everyone was saying there goodnights i wrapped my hand tightly around Theo's bicep and drug him to the door. " We are going to talk outside and we are going to settle this inner feud you have with me." I gave him no choice as i dragged him down the steps toward the rocks meeting the waves. 

Once we reached far enough from the house he ripped away from me and starting pacing. I waited for him to speak but when nothing happened i decided to step up. "Look Prince Theo i will apologize for whatever i have done to make you hate me so much. however only once have we met, i don't understand what i have done, please tell me so i can make it right." 

Theo stopped pacing and looked out across the water taking deep breaths he finally spoke. "There are differences in every Realm, some bad others worse." He began as he sighed still not looking at me. "I don't hate you per say i hate what you represent." I was stunned, he hated what i represented? I mean what did that even mean?

He continued as if he understood my confusion "I had a mate named Tom. Yes he was a male, i speak in past tense as he was killed shortly before you came here. My father thinks he can marry one of his sons off to the Ice wolves and have a stronger alliance and better trading options. He is all about greed and self preservation, He has two sons so he has offered us both up to fight for your hand." He turned to look at me know and i could see the tears streaming down his face.

 "My father is not a terrible king, he is a monster as far as a father. He cheats on my mother constantly, he marked her so no other can have her but wouldn't allow her to do the same. Since we were born he has had other children as well. i Have a sister and a young brother from his mistress, i challenged my father for the right to save my mate and the scar is my result. I tell you this so you understand my resentment, i apologize for attacking you and being so cold but now you understand my fury and guilt for Tom's Useless death." He turned away back to the waves as he allowed a few more tears to fall. 

I don't know what came over me as i rushed to him and wrapped my arms around him. He stiffened then hugged me tight as he cried silently into me. "Shh. it will all be okay, i don't want this anymore than you do. I only have my heart set on one male, no he is not my mate before you ask. I was forced into this as well, i was told if my mate was not an alpha he or she will be executed on sight." He nodded into my shoulder as we hugged each other tight. 

I vowed to do everything in my power to change that dreaded law. The Moon chose our blessings for a reason, every single one, and we deserved to enjoy them. After a few more moments we dried our tears and went back into the Villa. We parted ways and he actually smiled at me. 

Finally making it into my bed after changing and brushing my teeth i laid down and dialed Max. The phone rang and rang eventually going to voicemail, so i decided to text him.  "Goodnight Maxi, i hope you dream of me like i do you. I love you, Happy Birthday my soon to be king." I smiled happily with my message and hit send then rolled over to get some rest. I wondered what he was doing along with Bruce. 

I got up to go to the window looking out the small glint of the moon i whispered "i see the moon, the moon sees me, the moon sees the one i want to see." as i sang the words i remembered as a child again i decided to ask "Moon oh moon, what am i to do to save my people. Not just myself from the ignorant thinking, but also the world. Please guide me to the answer i seek." finished with my questions i kissed my two fingers and pressed them to the window as i crawled back into bed snuggling deep into the pillows.
