Chapter 13-Clarity

Stirring beside me had my eyes fluttering open, mom was lifting Sophie from my bed and whispering for her it was time to get ready for school. ugh school, the weekend really flew by. i pulled the blankets back over my face, drifting off again, when a warm body pulled me flush against a hard chest. wrapping their legs around mine and hand across my chest, trapping me in their hold. sweet kisses met my neck and face, realizing it was Max's sweet citrus scented body and lips on me with the slow burning fire he was creating. smiling and snuggling closer into him had him chuckling low and tightening his arms around me.

 "Good Morning doll" as he nuzzled my cheek. " Good morning Max" i put my hand over my mouth covering what im sure was my awful morning breath. He laughed again and fell back against the pillow making gagging noises. "shut up jerk, at least i was being polite to cover it" i growled out. he stopped gagging and pulled my hand from my mouth and replaced it with his lips. a soft small on his lips as he pulled away "your breath doesn't bother me, i just wanted to mess with you." shoving at his face i giggled.

 " Now get up hot stuff", he let me go and patted my butt to initiate my getting up. " no, not yet five more minuets i pulled the blankets back over my face and snuggled deeper into my bed. "if i give you five more minuets we will miss school and be tangled in bed for the rest of the day. its hard enough for me to get up now". he pulled my blankets off the bed and i turned to see he was already tented pants standing at the edge of my bed. 

Pointing at his situation i couldn't stop the uncontrollable laughter, " yeah i can tell, cant get enough of me can you shugga" my laughter stopped when he grabbed my foot jerking me to him. his face was inches from my neck as his warm breath fanned the spot he found that had me aching for him. " keep it up doll and my fantasy will be a reality." he kissed me gently and pulled away headed for the door. 

Closing it behind him i fanned myself, 'THAT GUY HAS GOT US ALL WOUND UP AND IM TEMPTED TO FIND OUT HIS FANTASY' groaning at the images she was sending me of us tangled up together and places i could explore with my tongue had me seriously considering.

Hearing Mom in pack link about breakfast being ready had me moving to get dressed quickly. i was starving from not eating yesterday, making my way into the bathroom i went to brushing my teeth. looking in the mirror had me gasping. i had bite marks all over my neck and shoulder, i cant believe he did that, granted they were small and human it didn't keep me from trying to cover them with base. giving up after the 3rd one i decided to just wear a sweater and scarf to cover, it was almost December anyway and plenty cold enough. grabbing a yellow sweater with brown scarf, dark wash boot cut jeans and my brown hiking boots i put them on quickly heading downstairs.

The multiple voices filtering through the doors had a smile already on my face. i really was starting to enjoy seeing my pack every morning and getting to check in on there lives.falling in line behind Millie we chatted about the day and how we were ready to graduate. turning my head to the table Max was already talking to Santos about fight stances and strategies, he turned his head at me and shot a wink to me. blushing i smiled and shot one back, Vicky bumped me from behind giggling and motioned to the food falling off my plate. apparently i got distracted and had piled so much bacon on my plate it was falling off.

Grumbling a sorry and moving to get my apple juice i walked towards the table. Max stood up and pulled my chair out, i smiled and said " why thank you kind sir" laughing i sat down and he pushed my chair in.Bruce glared at him from his seat next to Santos and lifted his eybrows at me once he noticed me looking at him, i smiled politely and shrugged. i sat between Max and Sophie overlooking his parents and Millie.  Millie raised eyebrows at me and pointed a fork between the two of us. her parents however had the biggest smiles. i diverted my attention to my breakfast.

Talk went to the typical morning rituals of pack business and how school was going. i jerked when Max hand slid his hand up my knee. i looked up hoping no one had noticed and i was in luck everyone had carried on there talk even Max not looking my way. 

'WELL ARE YOU GOING LET HIM MAKE YOU AN OMEGA OR YOU GONNA SHOW HIM WHOSE THE ALPHA?'  Sadie always helping me out. i smirked and slid my hand over to his thigh and started moving up towards his crotch when he jumped hitting the table and knocked over a few drinks. "s**t sorry guys" his stuttering flustered mess had Sadie smirking " ATTA GIRL'  i smiled politely at the glare he shot my way and helped clean up the spills.

We all finished breakfast and i started for my SUV. oh black Betty how ive missed you i purred as i slid my finger over the hood to the drivers door. hoping into the drivers seat a hand caught mine. " that was dirty foreplay in there, but ill forgive you since i know you'll moan my name later" max kissed my fingers and he whispered the words. 

I giggled" first off creeper, that wont happen anytime soon, second" i snatched my hand back although i really wanted him to keep going. "how did you win front seat and beat everyone to my car?" he darkly chuckled " well a magician never tells his secrets, plus i wanted a minute to myself with you before the goon squad shows up" as if they heard his comment Millie and Vicky appeared in the backseats. 

" Hey guys" they greeted at the same time. See since the last time we had to have her ride with with we actually have gotten to be friends of course she and Millie more so than myself. 

Turning the engine over the car came to a rubble and we turned to head to the freeway. " So" Millie started" whats going on with you two" she gestured to Max an i. " i woke up last night to pee and Max was gone, the bathroom door was locked and the shower was running" she glared at me in the rear view on the last part. 

" We was f*****g Millie get over it" Max's reply had me cringing and blushing all at once. he was only partly right, i didn't seem to elaborate but she continued" Max your such an ass, i know y'all wasn't f*****g because for one Sarah has standards you cant possibly meet plus when you have s*x you sound like a dying wildebeest". i couldn't contain my laughter and even swerved a little getting the picture of that guy from The Animal movie, where hes humping the mailbox and making animal noises at the girl on her knees getting her keys.  

"Hey hoe i don't want to die pay attention" still laughing i only nodded to her comment as she and Max started arguing again. thankfully the school wasn't to far away and we pulled into our usual spot all hoping out. Millie and Vicky had already almost made it to the doors when max slung his arm over my shoulder. 

" Don't listen to her, i do not sound like that" shaking my head " honestly if you do id probably die of laughter so i couldn't tell anyone anyway" he removed his arm and pushed me slightly" want to go back to the truck and find out?" his teasing had me flustered, i really did want to find out. ugh what in the hell is wrong with me. raging horn dog im becoming. "no no i don't want to die today" smiling i hurried away from him to the doors before i changed my mine and jumped him in the parking lot. 

Getting to my locker was crazier than normal, i had forgotten that there was a merger going on with the shadow pack since one of there schools was destroyed. getting out my books for my literature class i slammed the door and turned to the hallway. 

having to shove my way through the mass of students was uncomfortable. i used to much force a few times and had kids falling over, i was having a hard time deciphering the humans from the wolves.  ever since i hit my head my senses seem to be off. finally shoving my way into class a girl with dark brown hair was in my seat. 

' SLAP THAT b***h,WE ARE THE QUEEN HERE" nodding at her comment i grabbed the girls arm pulling her from my desk and shoving her to the window. " find a different seat" i gritted through my teeth. damn now my hormones are crazy acting to i thought, ive never been this aggressive. the girl was trembling in fear obliviously human and im sure my eyes had started to glow with Sadie being on edge. "i..i..im s.ss..sorry i didn't know" she stammered out. 

Millie's hand on my shoulder had me easing up my grip on the girl, that's gonna bruise i knew it.  i took a few deep breaths and started to relax all the while Millie was rubbing my arm. 

" can i start class Ms Ellingford or is there something we need to know?" my Calculus teacher Mr. Tedd voiced loudly. i shook my head in response and sat down. Millie sat behind me still having her hand on my shoulder, Vicky looked over from the front and mouthed are you okay. 

I nodded in response again and ignored them both through the rest of the class and into the next one. When the bell rang for lunch i was supposed to meet up with Bruce to resume my training, today i just couldn't make myself leave. i followed them to the lunchroom that i haven't set foot in since last year was awkward, still seeing the same people at the same tables and groups did ease me some. walking in most students apparently had heard about my aggressiveness and steered clear or just looked at me. 

Surprisingly i liked the smell of there fear and it even had me licking my lips thinking how there blood might taste. That's really odd, i inwardly cringed but still had that thought circulating.

Getting my cheeseburger with extra bacon from the lunch line, i paid for and went to the table closest to the window. Max was already seated there with Santos and a few others from the pack. when i sat down he immediately slid over and put his arm around me. i leaned and and laid my head on his shoulder. 

" i heard you went all boss on a new kid, whats going on doll?" he asked in a hushed tone as he stroked my hair. " i dont know im having trouble controlling my emotions lately, and my sense of smell is weird to." i grumbled out. turning my body so i was coiled up into him i nuzzled his neck affectionately and sighed happily. " okay," clearing his throat he didnt say anything else. 

My hands moved to stroke his chest and moved to his pants when he caught my hand. " Sarah what are you doing" he asked more growled at me. it wasn't a mean growl more strangled like he was having a hard time stopping me. 

" i just want to feel you" i purred against his neck. feeling him shiver in response had me smirking. to my shock and displeasure Millie pulled me out of his arms, i was almost about to straddle him in front of everyone. " Sarah come with me" she frantically pleaded with me, i growled at her in response. i was really getting sick of being interrupted and i was wanting to rip my best friends head off for it. 

" Sarah calm down you'll shift in front of everyone" she pleaded again i ignored her as my hands started to lengthen "s**t" was said unanimously i suppose since i couldn't pinpoint the exact mouth it came from the others had noticed. Warm arms and citrus scent enveloped me and i was lifted off the ground into a hard chest.

I immediately snuggled closer and ever purred, 'Sadie what he hell did you just purr' YES, YES I DID, WEIRD' . i realized i was being carried and turned ever so slightly to see us passing through the doors of the school and out towards the woods. 

Dropping me into the snow Max snarled at me and ran his fingers through his hair repeatably. "Max" i purred again "come lay with me, i need you" Millie came from behind me and threw a snowball at me head. 

" Max go over there where she cant see you or smell you but stay close i need to talk to Sarah" nodding max disappeared, despite my whining for him. "Sarah what the actual hell is wrong with you"? you seriously just almost f****d my brother, your friend and beta in front of the whole school!" she screeched at me. 

I shook my head trying to clear it. " i..i..i dont know, i dont understand, i...i cant control my emotions, i cant control my urges or even my senses." i screamed out and slammed my hands into the snow i was still sitting in. 

" Millie" i looked up now starting to cry " i think im loosing my mind".  she dropped to her knees in the snow next to me and hugged me tight. " lets go for a run that always clears my head" nodding in response she let me go and removed her clothes. soon she transformed into her mostly white and silver streaked wolf. Gemini shook her fur and yipped for myself and Max to shift. i removed my clothes and shifted as well, with max trotting over from the side of the woods he had disappeared to. 

Sadie immediately started to purr and licked his face then proceeded to rub her body all along his coating us in his scent. Max's wolf Griffin stood frozen as if he was scared to make a move that i might pounce him. when she was finished she simply sat down under his chin and wagged her tail. 

"okay...so are you done molesting my brother so we can go?" Millie filtered through my mind link, i growled in return and we proceeded into the woods. We started running and it really was helping to clear my mind, i short while later Millie spoke again" hey girl im sorry but we have to get back to school we have two classes left, are you okay to get home alone?" 

" yeah im fine, y'all can take my SUV home, keys are in the pocket of my jeans we left back at he school. i just want to run a while longer and ill head home in wolf form" they nodded and turned back towards campus, i cut the link and headed in the opposite direction of them. i felt like i just needed to be with Sadie alone and hopefully figure out our weird actions.
