Chapter 5

850 Words
FIVE YEARS LATER Amethyst's POV I was busy dancing on the dance floor with random boys around me. I just dance with them, not giving a damn on who they are or what they want. I just kept drown myself with the beat and move my body according to its will. "Whoooo!" Everyone on the bar cheered. All of us are having a great time! One of the boys that's dancing with me pulled me closer to him as he dances. His face displaying a playful grin. I smiled at him back. I knew exactly what he wants. I lifted up the red cup on my hand as I danced, moving my body before his. He pressed my body against him so I wrapped my arms around his neck while we dance. His hands started to make movements trying to explore my body. I just let him, I don't mind. I just don't care. Moments passed but he stayed on touching my ass and every inch of my body. I got bored so I walked away. I sat on the couch with Jackson. He smiled at me and handed me a stick of cigarette which I gladly accepted and lit. I sucked its smoke as I drank the remaining liquor on my cup. "How long are you planning to stay as a pain in the ass Amethyst?" He asked while smiling as he leans backward. I looked at him coldly. I smirked at the question. "Forever. Pain in the ass, Forever." I answered. He laughed. He's not happy. There's nothing funny either. It's just because he's high. I can tell because of the dried m*******a leaves on the table. "I really am impressed with your confidence Plus the fact that your Dad is a Police Colonel. Thanks to your Dad's power Amethyst, You're still breathing." He commented. I stared blankly at the cup in my hand. "It's more accurate to say that thanks to My Dad's reputation that he can't afford to lose it. Reputation is more important, asshole!" I replied before putting the cigarette's filter between my lips. He just shook his head and laugh silently. Jackson Del Valle is my Best friend. He's a son of a Police Lieutenant Colonel. We're both Rebels. After a few hours inside that Bar, I decided that it's enough for tonight. Getting home drunk and high is enough to piss my parents off. I am only 17 years old yet I am a drug addict, a drinker, and a smoker. What's the use of being a good girl when your parents are monsters? duh! I feel dizzy but I still managed to walk in these high heels. I get in my car and immediately started the engine. I will drive. It's more fun when you drive home, drunk. I almost caused an accident but I don't mind. I am enjoying it and besides, I want to be chased by stupid officers. I drove without giving a damn on what traffic regulation I might violate. I Just don't fuckin' care! I hit several barriers and also several food carts on the sidewalk but I just run off as nothing happened. I was currently enjoying the chaos I just caused as I was driving outside Manila. I plan to make more trouble. I have no idea where I am now. I just drive for hours not bothering to stop or at least check my phone for my parent's calls and messages. My vision became more blurry not only because of the liquor but also because of tiredness. I've been driving for hours and already gone too far so I was thinking about heading back when I almost hit someone. I can destroy things but I can't kill people—not just yet. I still have to learn how to do that— so I absentmindedly turn and lose control of the steering wheel. I was so nervous and surprised that I did not even think of stepping on the break instead. The last thing that I knew is that my car fell on the edge of the road, with me inside. I gained consciousness when I felt a pair of hands dragging me out of that car. I can feel the sticky blood flowing. I tried to open my eyes But it's too dark to see who is it. My body is too weak to move and I feel too dizzy to keep my eyes open. I can't even bring myself to speak. I just let that person take me away from that stupid car. A stupid piece of junk. I realized that person is not alone. I heard two voices, a girl and a man. "Take her. I'll take care of this." the girl said. She got this sweet and angelic voice. "Okay. I'll leave now then." The man replied. I felt his hands as he lifted my body and clung me onto his shoulder like a sack of rice. He walked away carrying me. I saw her shadow standing in front of the car. After that... I don't know what happened next.
