Graduation day so joyous right, the day where your life is just begining and Highschool is finally freaking over. My name Is Lexi, I am your typical teenage girl. Okay well maybe not so typical. I am the adopted daughter of an amazing preacher here in " Sin City". I am valedictorian of my class and always try to do my best for my family. I don't look like your run of the mill preachers kid I have flaming bright red hair, Sapphire eyes and I am " Emo" as labeled by my peers. I like to stay to myself my goody good two shoes sister has enough popularity for the both of us I am sure. I took out my piercings today well the visible ones anyways. Wouldn't want to " embarrass the family." As my mom so delicately put it, she doesn't approve of my looks or well of anything I do actually. I feel like I can never be good enough for her. I leave in two weeks just have to wait things out. I wake up and look at the clock 1:33am. what is happening my heart is so loud so fast I feel like its going to jump out of my chest. I look down at my self and all I can do is scream. I am on fire I am Literally on fu**ing fire what the hell. my father burst open my door shrilling to his spot " WHAT'S HAPPENING!!!!" I'm not trying to yell but what do you expect. my body starts lifting off my bed and I feel the flames getting bigger. " LEXI" My mom screams. I drop the flames leaving my body and I am just staring at my parents. I am freezing I am always cold but I feel like Im in a icebox. " I'm calling the cops." My mom turns on her feet and runs. " Lexi Look at me" My dad says looking dead serious. I look at him I am scared to my core what the hell was that. " Lexi you need to run." " Run??" my voice comes out ridged. " Yes Lexi run." he says shoving himself in my room and shutting my door. Grabbing my book bag and shoving stuff inside. He looks at me and hands me my bag and my purse pointing to the window. I throw the bag over my shoulder and head to the window crawling out and slipping onto the vines and crawling down. I do as my dad told me and head to the strip. This is the time of night the creepy crawlies are out and I am so not in the mood. I see Magenta as I am heading down the strip and stop her. " It is not the time of night for you to be out little one." she says smiling at me. " I know but do you have any ganj and maybe a skin." I smile at her She pulls out a baggy and a foil wrapper from her bag and hands it to me. I give her 30 bucks and head on my way. Stopping on the side of the MG and rolling a dube.I smoke the entire thing. and head to the back. I go to the small storage building and knock 3 times. " WHAT" a rude sounding man yells as he opens up a small window of the door "I was um told to come here." I feel like a shy little kid " Well we don't accept kids." He slams the window shut. " Wait please my name is Lexianna Rose Hadades." I have a slight hesitation trying to remember the name. The door swings open and I step inside. Its warm in here feels good after I have been freezing since I caught on fire. " This way." The rude man gestures and leads me down a path to a small speed boat. I am totally confused why is there a speed boat in a storage building and why does this place seem so much bigger than. it looks on the outside. I have got to be in some alternate reality.
