“You’ll have to wait, the king won’t be happy with you leaving this place…you are their main target” Barb worried and I heaved a heavy sigh feeling somewhat helpless. I kept watching out the window seeing how the firing collided with the invincible barrier and it made me quite uneasy until fire were fired back, unlike the normal human grenade explosion, blue parallel light were spewed out of the shield and unto the ground the humans had assembled creating massive explosion from their side. Attacks from our side didn’t stop and all I could make out now where the dust that rose into the air after each massive explosion, I could tell it had a big impact on them from the way things suddenly died down afterwards.

“Barb, what’s the status right now?” I questioned extremely curious since I could hardly make anything out from the heavy dust air that filled up the outer part of the invisible barrier.

“They are regrouping…over 100 injured and about 5 dead from the hit” Barb relayed and I turned to her in surprise.

“How did you even know that?” My eyes bulged out in surprise.

“I hacked into their communication system and I could hear as their captain gives orders and got reports from his troops” Barb explained and I sighed wondering what exactly she can’t do.

“They might breach the wall” Barb relayed and I frowned.

“What, you just said the wall won’t be down until a couple of hours?” I questiomed.

“Yeah, but with heavy equipments they are about to use…I don’t think the shield can stay up for long” Barb relayed and I wondered while any equipments will have that much power.

“I don’t understand-

“It’s called a Variant Repulser, it’s used to antagonize any alien technology-

“Who the heck built that?” I frowned finding the name of the machine oddly familiar.

“It’s from an industry called Survivors” My heart raced, what the heck…Nicholas, Brian and Danny built that forsaking thing. It was the same repulser we had defeated the aliens with, they might have created few modifications I’m certain.

“Oh no!” I muttered repeatedly feeling very uncomfortable by the fact that

Ghafils are about to get hurt by my actions, not entirely my actions though, Nicholas and I were responsible for helping them design that and now watching them use it against me make me feel it was all my f*****g fault.

“Barb, I want you to calculate the damage that’ll be done if by chance the wall was breached” I got curious.

“They are about 600 alien soldiers around the shield protecting the outer walls of the camp, if they use explosives, they could be hurt but scanning the perimeter they assembled to, I figured…they are going to use oxygen explosives…that could lead to severe lung damage to every Ghafils at around the perimeter-

“How long have they got?” I asked getting more worried with every passing second.

“Till the shield is down” Barb replied and I sighed.

“I’ll need you to follow me Barb, I can’t just sit around and wait for the Ghafils to get hurt…until everyone is safe and on board to Zullion I will fight-

“You are in no condition to that Claire, the king-

“Where does your loyalty lays Barb?” I questioned and Barb gave me a small smile.

“You know the answer to your question” Barb simply replied and I replied with a faint laugh as her answer was kinda smart.

“I’m going out to help defend the camp and I want you to watch my back for me and warn me of any incoming danger, can you do that?” I implored and Barb smiled.

“That is still in my capabilities” She replied and I nodded heading outside but there were about 6 heavily built Ghafils standing Guard.

“Your highness, the king has requested to maintain that you stay in” One of the Rhafik with extra long robe told me as I tried to walk past them.

“You can’t hold me back, you know that much” I smiled and intend to past them but they all immediately make a block form, a Rofik with really long tentacles and pale green skin with greener lip appeared muttering and singing a melodious song that was suddenly making me sleepy.

“Does Hero have to go to this length?” I wondered feeling my head getting real heavy, I raised my palm to my ears trying to shot the songs out but I was getting real tired so I raced back inside the room with my heart racing thousand beats per minute, but the female Ghafil wasn’t done; she had a slim waist, and broad hips with heavy backside that held the woven basket skirt she wore firmly, I was certain she was considered a beauty considering Ghafil standards, singers are the most beautiful in the Ghafil population anyway, just when her effect on me start to get worse, I immediately stretch my hand to the glass that wall that had stood in protection, but I channelled my anger to it and it came crashing and shattering, taking the Rhofik by surprise that she immediately stopped singing and my head immediately cleared up.

“See you later” I smiled running and eventually jumping out of the window which had shattered off, but I went straight down and first but eventually got my balance so I used my gravitational force manipulation to levitate, soon I was floating up towards the several wall and barricades that shield the inner camp where the Zullion civilians were, many spotted me and many didn’t as I float towards the very first wall while the Ghafil warriors looked at me strangely obviously, then I heard Hero calling my name but the surrounding Ghafils were stopping him from getting any closer to the outer barricade after all he’s their king and they definitely won’t have him running towards danger, but I could see the furious look on his face, he was seething.

“I’m sorry” I screamed so he could he could hear me as he struggled against the hands that were drawing him back.

“I can’t just sit down and do nothing” I added before turning towards the direction of a oozing sound, then the firing from Ghafils end immediately stopped, so I’m guessing they’ve switched on the repulser and every alien technology already stopped working, I balanced myself gallantly in the air and waited for the next action from the humans and as Barb predicted I saw the shield started to wear off from the top and slowly down, then someone I was thinking was the human commander shouted fire immediately the rest of the shield was gone.

“You aren’t doing this on my watch” I smirked as I watched a heavy missile which I guess was the oxygen explosives Barb had warned me about. I directed my energy towards freezing the explosives in motion by a force field I created around it, holding it together in a purple line with blue effects, afterwards I changed the direction of the explosives towards the humans who were all still shocked by my sudden interference. I scoffed they hit off the explosives with a heavy force from me sending it back to them and causing a massive fire explosion, since there was already fire burning around them so, the oxygen only made it worse.

I heaved a heavy sigh of relief after that, but I knew for sure I just got myself in trouble as they directed all fire towards me, but I had made it a most to destroy the repulser that way the shield can go up and the Ghafils within the shield could be safe but the humans weren’t giving up so easily. Creating a dome shape force field around me that stopped the bullets from reaching me, I slowly float down towards them sending heavy cosmic blasts towards them, I continued and slowly drive them back, then I spot the repulser, they kept it at a very far angle and I was afraid for a second if I moved close to destroy it, I might not make in time to the camp first wall before the shield go up again and that might trap me outside.

But I didn’t want to be selfish so I started to target the repulser, it wasn’t long before the humans figured out my plan and they all moved to protect it, raining more fires at me but I wasn’t giving up that easily, I throw more blasts at the repulser while reinforcing the field around me because as more hit rained on the dome protecting me, it wear off so it was getting harder to destroy the repulser, I had to use my two hands in sending the comic blasts but in effect, my walls started to wear off. I groaned as a bullet managed to get into the wall cut my upper arm as it flew over it.

But the most important thing was that I managed to blast off the repulser, so I started to run back towards the shield as it started to close back up…my heart were racing in my chest and my head was pounding and I felt every cell in my body getting unusually energised but I knew what was coming, if I reached the wall my body was going to release a mass radiation that was going to kill the Ghafils around me, but if I stayed, the humans were gonna be in trouble and I might not make it in time for the shield, I didn’t have to think so much, because I got hit again.
