Belle
I sighed and put the last pile of my clothes in my thired lagguage. I took the box with my arranged books on it and put some duct tape on it before placing it above the other box which contains my desk essentials. I roamed my eyes in my now almost empty cream and gray colored room. So this is how it feels to leave your solace place, huh? Funny how I felt nothing but indifference. My room that used to be packed with my things looked nothing now but a guest room because of my bed, drawers, and tables. I heard a knock on my open door and saw my second brother standing in my doorway. I sighed and faced him before I slumped down on my bed. "You seem pretty ready to leave." He said and pointed out at my packed things. "Republic is a nice little town." He said sarcastically. "Yeah. I'm glad i'll be there alone without my hypocrite brothers." I sarcastically said and stood up to get my phone and iPad on my desk together with my headphones and came back to my bed. "Don't be such a b***h, Belle. Seattle is the life, but republic shouldn't be that bad for someone like you." He stated and kicked my door. "It's the consequences that you're facing." He said and smirked at me. "If you could only just be a good girl like what Mom and Dad wanted, then maybe you're living your life freely like your brothers. Is it hard for you to be a diligent daughter? Must you always put our family to shame?" He asked smugly. I nodded. "It's not that I don't like to be a diligent daughter." I said and walked up until I'm merely two steps away from him. I smirked. "It's just that I hated being one of this family's dog. I'm not someone who's gonna follow our parents orders just to be me." I said then walked out of my room, passing by my brother who's way too perfect for my own taste. "You see my dear brother, I'm free. I don't have chains on my neck but you, and Isaac does. The chains of our parents expectations for you. And I'll rather be a prodigal daughter, than be a good pet in a chain that's gonna be caged one day." I said then went down the stairs to go to the garden. I plugged my headset and played the first song on my playlist. What a wonderful world by Loius Armstrong came playing. I sighed and walk through the path to the flowers. I grazed my fingers on each and every flowers that me and my former Butler planted. She got fired because of that incident.
"And I say to my self, what a wonderful world." The song is supposed to be lively. To make someone feel better. But right at this moment, I couldn't put my finger on what's wrong with me. Why am I feeling so blue. So sad. "Miss Belle." Edward, our family driver called me from across to where I am standing. "Your things are in the car. It's almost time to leave, my young lady." He said and bowed before leaving me alone. I sighed and look up at our Manor for the last time. I closed my eyes and uttered a little prayer. That I hope, that the place that I'm going to go, is gonna be the place that I can finally call home. With my Grandma Liz on there. And to meet a lot of people, and hope that in no time I'll matter to them, just like how I know that they'll matter to me. Whether they will know it or not. I stepped out of the manor and stood in front the cars door. I was about to go in when i heard foot steps behind me. "Take this with you incase you get hungry on the way." My mom said and handed me a packed sandwich. I looked at it and smirked. "I bet it's poisoined." I said and threw it on the road behind our car.I smirked at their bewildered faces. "What? You didn't see that coming? As if i'll trust you." I uttered then turned my back at them and got into the car. "Drive." I ordered Edward. I just hope for real that the little town in Washington is warm enough for the winter or else i'll be dead.
The six hours drive bored me to death. We had three stop overs to pee and grt something to munch on. The temaining hours, i spent talking with two of my friends through telegram. "Miss Belle." Edward called. "We're here." He said which made me roam my eyes around. We've stopped in front of a two storey white house. Is this Grandma Liz's house? Her house is gray, as i remeber from the pictures. "Madam Liz is on the line." I took the phone from his hands. "Granma? I'm outside your house."
"Silly. That's not mine. Don't you remember my house at all? It's different from that." She said that made me confused. "That's Rogers, a friend of mine's house. I asked him if he could look after you, and if you could stay for a day or two since i'm out of town." She explained. "His son is at home. You should go in. He'll explain things. I have to go." "Wait, Granma Li-" I tried calling but git cut off. "Gosh dangit." I said and kicked the grass. "Did you knew it all along, Edward?" I asked grumpily. Great. Now i was asked to stay in a stranger's house. A guy stranger! How amazing is that?! Note the sarcasm please. "You know what, never mind. Just get this over with." I mumbled. "Stay there, Edward. So that if i got murdered while knocking at that damn door, you'll be my witness." I ordered and rolled my eyes. *Knock knock knock* "Anyone in here?" I said.*Knock knock knock* Damn, the breeze in this town is cold. "Seriously, how long do i have to wait before this crap door gets opene-" "What is your problem?!" A half naked man, with an icy blue eyes towered over me. "Is knocking once isn't enough?!" He stated angrily while fixing his hair. Oh, someone just got out of bed. "Is this Mr. Rogers house?" I ignored and looked back at Edward. "Are you Mr. Rogers?" He roamed his eyes from my head to toe. "Who the hell are you?" "Lizzania, or Granma Lizzy's grand daughter." I informed him. "Oh, the trouble baby who needs the baby sitting." He said cockily and went inside. "Excuse me?" I asked offendedly and followed him. "Baby sitting and s******g, if i may add."I followed him up to the kitchen where he got a glass of water and drank. "Get your lagguages. You'll be staying in the room next to mine." He said and disappeared from my vision when hr went upstairs. Oh s**t. Who's in trouble now?
