42. Drunk

Alex wakes up with his very battery head, Alex's head deciding. The man massaged his head because of dizziness. Alex wasn't fully conscious when he woke up, after a while, he woke up he realized he was in an unfamiliar place. This is not his home.

"Are you awake?" the heavy voice resuscitated Alex from his daydream. Alex, who knew who he was, had a little voice. "What you did to me."

The man Simply casually responded to Alex's furor, "You should have said thank you to me because I helped you." The person casually sat next to Alex who still hadn't noticeably gained his consciousness.

"Drink this," the man offered Alex a canned drink. But his good intentions have been refuted by Alex's bad thoughts, "You want my poison?" Alex gets even more excited by responding to every single thing that person does to him.

"Take care of your talk! I'm just well-intentioned."

"You drink that because it will make you better."

Although it is with a heavy heart Alex still receives the canned drink because he needs it.

Alex drank the drink even with a forced taste. "It tastes pretty good, where did you get it from?" he was suspicious at first but after Alex drank it what happened was that he praised the taste of the drink because it tasted quite refreshing and fit on his tongue.

"Is it poisonous?" the man asked.

With his sinless face, Alex replied, "No, thanks for the drink."

The man laughed off because Alex's attitude had not changed long ago, easy to monopolize and in god with a little joke.

The man asked Alex because after the conversation about the canned drink there was no other conversation.

"How are you Al?" the man asked nicely but replied with a no-brainer answer from Alex, "is that the question I need to answer?"

"I just wanted to exchange greetings like in general – after a long time of not seeing each other."

Alex snorted, "I'm good, as you can see."

"Thank God, I hear you're a radio announcer now?"

"Yes, that's it."

"Are you comfortable with that? As far as I know, you..." The man hung up his words which Alex then continued, "At least working as a radio announcer doesn't make me depressed."

The man nodded, it seemed like Alex had already changed a lot. At least Alex is not as closed to the outside world as he used to be. Because Alex used to be like a stone man who likes to be alone and confine himself in a dark room. Alex never interacted with anyone other than the computer he was working with. Alex was too obedient to the leader. So that makes Alex not know with the outside world, but once Alex knows the outside world, Alex immediately goes far and indifferent to the rules of headquarters.

"You're an adult now."

"Of course, I have to be like that."

"Have you found a bright way about Liliana, I got word from Fox that you're still looking for that girl."

Alex is lazy to answer it because he does not like to always be asked like that by people in his past. Alex just wants to live peacefully without any distractions who are always curious about his personal life. He just wants to always be calm, as a result, because he is lazy to argue Alex prefers to just go from there. He was already standing up but his intentions were prevented by that person.

"I want to go, thanks for the drink."

The man who was dissatisfied with Alex's response also held Alex back from staying. "Where are you going?"

"Isn't it clear? I want to leave because my business is done here." Alex replied with a slight annoyance towards that person.

"Stay, I'll tell you something important." The man was still trying to convince Alex.

"No need, I don't want to get involved with you or anything else any longer," Alex said he rejected the man's offer.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course,"

"It's about Lili, Al."

"You're not kidding me, Steve?"

Taking care of people who are sick from a broken heart is difficult, very difficult. Because it wants to be treated there is no point because it does not work as well. It's not a cure, but there's no cure.

Adam was again very dizzy taking care of his big baby, dear miss, beloved Hannah Petter. Hannah is sad again because of an incident she did not expect with Alex.

After confiding with Cindy Hannah's sadness still dominates the heart, not diminished her sadness. Now, there was Adam who was the target of her vent.

Adam frowned that he had failed to understand what Hannah had said just now. "What do you mean Hannah?"

Adam sighed now, he was astonished by Hannah's behavior. Adam didn't think about Hannah's overly impulsive thoughts. As a result, Adam conveyed his deepest heart, "If I were Alex, I would leave you." Adam said without guilt there.

Hannah widened her eyes, "What do you mean? Do you think my actions are too much?"

"Of course, he's just trying to be fair to you, he's trying to be honest with the state of his heart. Even though he loves you doesn't mean he doesn't love the girl any longer."

Hannah looked lethargically at Adam, "but... Ad..."

Adam explains what honesty means in a relationship. If that person loves you he will be open to things that he thinks the person he loves needs to know. Adam's laughter broke right then and there.

When it comes to trust in love, there is no end. Trust in each other is very much needed in relationships. Because if we put a sense of trust there will be a sense of calm in the heart, there will be no bad prejudice to the couple.

But sometimes, if there is a partner who is not self-aware or the level of knowing himself is very low will certainly make it difficult for a good-hearted partner and instill high confidence in his partner who does not know himself.
