The drive from Crescent Night to Silver Claw took a few hours and, with the small number of warriors going to back up Marcus’ challenge, they managed to fit into five cars. It was a risky move to take so few wolves, but Marcus hoped it sent a clear message that they were not there to attack the whole pack, just the Alpha. Lucien, Isla, Dean and Luke’s presence should also back up this message, though it was already decided that Luke and Dean were to stay back and escape if things got hairy.
