The Silver Claw pack was hidden atop a hill with the entrance covered amongst a thick grove of trees. The forest followed the boundary of the pack up to the south where a sharp rock face warded off any chance of attack. It also extended into the pack’s land as far as Charlie could see, created a thick deterrent unique to their territory. Charlie hadn’t seen anything like it before and had to admit that the pack had been built in a very strategic location, great for defending, but she also had the sneaking suspicion that once you got used to the lay of the land, it would also give them a great advantage when taking down an enemy. Though she was still sure Crescent Night would win in an all-out fight, she didn’t doubt that the casualties would be very high in this terrain.
