The mood was strange after leaving Alpha Arthur’s office. A somber cloud hung over the small group as the reality that their plans to quickly sort out their home troubles would take longer than they expected. It wasn’t too bad for Lucien, Dean and Isla, they were each other’s family wherever they were, but Luke looked pale and clammy. He hadn’t exactly chosen to come to Crescent Night in the same way as the others, it was just his luck to be the wolf that was knocked unconscious and taken for questioning.
