Charlie had been in the Alpha’s house before. It was a three-story building with the bottom floor dedicated to offices and meeting areas and the upper two floors being the Alpha’s living space. However, she had never been up the stairs to see it. As she ascended, her hand tight in Jay’s as he pulled her onwards, she marvelled at the pictures hanging on the wall. Each photo was a picture of a Red Moon Alpha, with their Luna’s by their side and upper rank wolves around them. Towards the top of the stairs, the pictures changed from black and white to full colour, and eventually, she spotted her dad standing proudly besides Jay’s father, the previous Red Moon Alpha. Pride filled her chest, but she then noticed that it was the last photo.
