There are many nice things in the world that are orange. The sun on a hot day, bright flowers in a garden, a clementine with sweet juices, but none of those came close to giving the delight that Charlie felt when she saw the curly mop of orange hair of her favourite female friend. Serena pounced out of the car at the Red Moon front gate and launched herself into Charlie’s open arms, her auburn tail flicking with glee behind her. “Charlie! I missed you!” She squealed. “I missed you too.” Charlie laughed, matching Serena’s enthusiastic squeeze. Charlie was in an especially good mood that morning as she had managed to get out of warrior training and only rolled out of bed 30 minutes ago. It was the first day since getting back to the Red Moon pack where she hadn’t seen the sun rise
