Ruby Manson's golden eyes blazed with fury. He stood over me, his body still taut with rage, his breathing rough from the battle. His silver fur shimmered under the moonlight before retracting, his transformation fading as his human form returned. Blood splattered across his bare chest, his claws still stained from whatever those creatures were. He didn’t say anything at first. But his presence was suffocating.
