Pain. Heat. Power.
It consumed me, surging through every inch of my body like wildfire.
I couldn't move. Couldn't breathe.
My veins burned, as if something ancient and untamed had been awakened inside me.

A strangled gasp tore from my throat, but the world around me had already started to blur.
