The moon Guardian

For eighteen years, Luna had lived a quiet life in the small village of Evermere. Surrounded by green hills, ancient forests, and peaceful rivers, the village seemed far away from the troubles of the outside world. But Luna had always felt that something was different about her. She had strange dreams almost every night. In those dreams, she saw a beautiful castle floating among the clouds, a silver moon shining over a mysterious kingdom, and a woman whose face always seemed familiar. On the night of Luna's eighteenth birthday, the village held its annual Moonflower Festival. Lanterns filled the streets, music echoed through the square, and everyone gathered to celebrate. Luna stood quietly near her father, wearing the silver pendant her mother had given her many years ago. Suddenly, she looked toward the sky. The moon disappeared. The music stopped. The lanterns went out one by one. Then Luna heard a soft voice coming from the direction of the forbidden Blackwood Forest. "Luna..." She froze. Someone was calling her name. Her father immediately grabbed her hand. "Don't go near the forest." "But who was that?" Luna asked. Her father looked frightened. "It's time you learned the truth." Before he could explain, a powerful explosion shook the village. Blue flames rose from the forest, and a terrifying creature emerged from the darkness. Luna instinctively raised her hand. A brilliant silver light suddenly appeared around her. Everyone stared in disbelief. Her father whispered, "The Moon Guardian has awakened." Luna looked at her glowing hands, unable to understand what was happening. Then a woman's voice echoed inside her mind. "Luna, you are the last hope of Asteria." That night, Luna discovered that she was not an ordinary village girl. She was the last Moon Guardian. And her awakening had marked the beginning of an ancient war between light and darkness.
