CHAPTER 19

Sky POV

After 20 minutes of driving, we arrived to the nearest town. Even if it was cold there were people walking down the streets and some of them going inside restaurants or bars to enjoy their nights. The view was beautiful with all the signs colors and lights, I know for some people it's just something ordinary you see everyday but for someone like me everything is a first time.

Damian parked the car in front of a fancy restaurant, he exited the car and opened my door for me, I took his hand and we made our way to the reception. We passed a small garden with a fountain in the middle and light everywhere and they looked like fireflies making it so much beautiful.

"Good evening and welcome to the Ostrich Restaurant. Do you already have a reservation?" Said the girl in the reception. She was a tall girl with blonde hair and brown eyes and she kept eying Damian up and down. She didn't even care that he was with someone and that someone is his mate or for her his girlfriend seeing as she is human.

"Yes, I made I reservation under the name of Evans" He said then looked at me smiling. I think he didn't even notice that she was trying to gain his attention.

She glared at me and said "this way please. I will take you to your table" then she started walking swaying her hips.

The inside of the restaurant was stunning, the tables were beautifully arranged and the walls were decorated with breathtaking paintings. I am sure everything here was very expensive.

"Here you are. Table for two" she brought us to a table near the wall witch was made of glass and you could see the Moon and the garden outside.

Damian went to one of the chairs and pulled it back. "Here you go princess" and I went and sat down, thanked him and then he went and sat on the other chair.

"If you need anything just call me, I'll always be free for you" the girl said trying to sound seductive and batting her eyelashes for more effect. I think it was clear the hidden message behind what she said.

"No thank you, we are good like this. I think you should go there are other people waiting" I said giving her an innocent smile but inside I wanted so much to punch her. She just glared at me and made her way to the reception.

"I really like you getting jealous, it makes you look so hot" Damian said giving me a smirk and I just blushed "but don't worry I am only yours"

Then a male waiter came to our table and said "good evening, my name is Josh and I will be your waiter for tonight" and gave us two menus, he was a young boy around nineteen or twenty years old, he was good looking but he is nothing compared to my Damian. "Would you like something to drink?"

"What would you like to have, princess"

"Ehmmmm I think a COLA is good"

"Two Colas, please"

I started looking at the menus and everything looked really delicious but very expensive so it made it Hurd to decide what to take. Sensing my internal conflict Damian said. "Don't worry about the price Sky, you can take anything you want. I want you to have a lot of experience so be prepared because I will take in a lot of places"

"But this is too much"

"Nothing is too much for you. If I could give you the world I would and it won't be enough compared on how much you mean to me Sky" him and his sweet words always making me blush and speechless. But he couldn't make me more happy.

"You don't know how happy you make me"

"Not as much as happy as how I am being with you"

The waiter came bringing our Colas and then taking our orders with were a Lasagna for me and a steak with mashed potatoes for Damian. While waiting for our food we talked about random things like favourite things and enjoyed our company. Then the food came and we started eating in a comfortable silence. We also ordered some dessert witch consisted in a chocolate cake and some gelato.

After we finished Damian asked the bill and paid it, then we decided to walk a bit around the town. Sometimes we would pass some girls and young women and they would look at Damian longingly, well I can't blame them he really is very handsome and every girl would want him.

We walked a bit more and the we found a very lovely park and we sat down with Damian's arm on my shoulder hugging me to him, the it started to snow making it even more romantic.

"Princess, I would love if you move to my room. I am not saying that we will do anything soon I will wait for you until you are ready. It's just that me and Shadow can't stay without you and we would love to know that you are always safe and in our embrass" the look he gave me was like looking at an adorable puppy. You could see in his eyes that he hoped so much I would say yes and I wasn't going to say no, not to him looking at me and Notte was already excited to the idea. That reminds me that she already knew that we were mates and she didn't tell me.

"I am sorry Sky, but I did it for you. You were so hurt after Jack rejection I wanted you to heal your heart and accept him on your own without me or the bond forcing you" Notte said hearing my thoughts.

"Thank you Notte for always thinking about me. I really love you so much and I am happy I found out about me and Damian being mates I couldn't ask for someone else"

"I agree he is perfect for us. I love you too Sky" she said and retreated in my mind making me go back to reality and to Damian who was still looking at me expectantly.

"Yes, I would love to move to your room" and I wasn't doing it just because he was asking me but because I wanted it too. Maybe you would think isn't it too soon, but we are mates and we will be forever, our love is so much stronger than human love.

"Yeeess!!!" He shouted and hugged me tightly and the smile on his face was getting bigger and bigger making me smile with him and giggle at his reaction, he looked so cute in that moment.

"I will ask July to help me move everything from my room to yours tomorrow seeing as it's too late now"

"Well you won't need too and your things are already in my room. I asked Trevor and the guys to move them while we were out" he said and scratching the back of his neck.

"So you already knew I would say yes?"

"Well yeah I really hoped you would accept" he said blushing making me laugh at his expression and soon he joined me.

The night was amazing. We stayed there a bit more and then because it was getting a bit colder we decided that it was time to head home. We reached home at 23:45 and we went directly to Damian's room or I should say our room to sleep. I like how it sound, our room.

I took my pajama witch consisted in a tank top and Pajama's pants and went to the bathroom to change and do my business. When I came out Damian was already changed, well he just took his clothes living him in just his boxers. Oh my god look at those eight pack.

"Like what you see?" Saying that he woke me from my trance and I blushed a deep crimson red "don't worry you can look how much you want. It's all yours" it just made me blush even more if it was even possible.

We went to bed and Damian pulled me to him hugging me from behind. "Good night Sky. I love you" and gave me a kiss on the side of my head.

"Good night Damian. I love you too"

And with that I drifted in a dreamless sleep feeling safe and loved in the embrace of my mate making it the best night of my life.

Damian POV

Looking at my mate's sleeping face made me the happiest man on earth. I know I look like a stalker looking at her while she sleep but I couldn't help it. I already loved her so much that I can't imagine my life without her.

I wasn't planning on touching her that time in my office but I am happy I did because now I have my beautiful mate in my arms. And I wouldn't let her go for anything in the world now that she accepted me. I will do everything in my power to make her the happiest and show her how much I love her.

Shadow was so much happy too, he couldn't stop sighing in content all the time during our date. That made me think about our fantastic date, I loved hearing Sky's voice, laugh and giggle it warmed my heart. Oh and when she got jealous with how the restaurant girl was behaving was a major turn on for me. I liked saying her like that, that only showed that she cared about me and her possessiveness. She herself didn't see all those boys and men that were looking at her like she was the rarest treasure, but with one glare from me they looked away. She is so beautiful and special and it just makes me even more possessive.

"Damian" Skylar said in her sleep making my heart flatter at how my name sound coming from her mouth.

Thinking about my beautiful mate and how much happy she makes me I too drifted to a dreamless sleep.
