CHAPTER 18

SKY POV

Me and Damian made our way to the hospital hand in hand and all the time I couldn't help the smile on my face. After Jack I thought I wouldn't have another chance at love that only mates had but here I was with my mate the man I fell in love with even before knowing that he was my mate, I couldn't be more happy and grateful to the Moon goddess for making him my second chance mate.

Some pack member that saw us were confused but smiled at us. When we passed the living room to go to the garage and take Damian's car, Juliet and the guys that was there chatting stopped their talking and looked at us then at out intertwined fingers then again at us, Juliet and the twins smirked at us while the others looked at us in confusion but smiled in happiness, I mouthed 'Tell you later' at July because she was looking at me with a tell-me-everything look.

"Hey guys! How have you been? I see that you all met your mates, I am really happy for you" Damian said and we stopped in front of them.

"Oh yes and we are not the only ones!" Justin said smirking and looking at our hands.

"Hi my name is Gabriella Dustin's mate and this is my sister Isabella and Justin's mate"

"Hello it's nice to meet you. My name is Damian Alpha of the Crescent Moon pack"

"And this is my mate Ryan" July said jumping up and down like a little kid.

"Nice to meet you Alpha Damian" Ryan said and went to shake hands with Damian.

"Nice to meet you to Ryan. And just Damian is fine. Juliet is like a little sister to me if you even think of hurting her I will kill you without thinking twice"

"I would never hurt her. She is everything I wished for and more and I am already deeply in love with her"

"Me and Damian were going to visit Trevor and Emily in the hospital. Why don't you come with us?"

"Yeah let's go see mini Trevor" Justin and Dustin said at the same time and all the others nodded in agreement.

We went to the garage and took Damian's car which was a very beautiful blue Lamborghini. Juliet and Ryan sat with us in the backseat while the twins and their mates took Justin's car with was a black Mercedes. We reached the hospital in ten minutes and made our way to the room where they were staying still with me and Damian hand in hand, sometimes he would look down at me and smile lovingly and I just return his smile with one of mines filled with as much love.

"Hi Trevor, how are you doing Emily?" Damian said when we entered the room.

Emily was lying on the hospital bed holding Tristan who was wrapped in a blue blanket, and Trevor was sitting on a chair next to them with his hand on Tristan's head. When they heard Damian's voice they looked at us and they too smirked when they saw our hands.

"Oh Hi guys! Welcome back! I see you brought new people and also that someone finally made the move" Trevor said the last part grinning at Damian.

"Yes and I am happy I did because now I have my mate and she accepted me"

"Congratulations man I am so happy for you. And you too Sky after what you have been through I am so much happy for you"

"Yes Sky we are so happy for you and Damian you deserve each other" Emily said smiling at us.

"Thank you guys. You don't know how much this means to me"

The guys then introduced their mates to Trevor and Emily and they instantly accepted them. Trevor too made the same threat to Ryan about not hurting July but he did one to Damian too telling him that even if he couldn't kill him because he is Alpha he would make sure to do a lot of demage. Damian wasn't angry because Trevor threatened him, he knew that his best friend was just looking after me and was happy about that and promised that he would never hurt me or let anyone hurt me.

After everyone introduced themselves, once at a time went to hold little Tristan. He was so adorable with his white hair and little body, I fell in love with him instantly. He also was calm and didn't cry while he was passed from one person to another, he just kept smiling and making weir noises. I was sure he will grow as a happy kid with loving parents and living pack.

When it was nearly lunch time we left Trevor and Emily to eat and Emily to nurse little Tristan, and we went to the pack house to have lunch too.

"Do you have anything planned this afternoon?" Damian asked me.

"I promised Cody to play with him after lunch, after that I don't have anything planned. Why?"

"Good because I would like to take you out this evening. Just the two of us"

"Are you asking me on a date?"

"Ehmmmm yeah. Of course if you don't want to we could...."

"I'd love to go on a date with you. I was just teasing you"

"Fantastic! Then be ready at 18:00"

"And where are you taking me?"

"Uh uh not telling you. It's a surprise"

"I hate surprises!" Well in reality I loved them and I was so much exited for our date tonight.

"Yeah sure. It's all written on your face that you love them" he said pointing at my face and it made us laugh. This is going to be amazing.

It was now 17:45 and July was putting the last touches at my dress and make up. After I played with Cody she came and dragged me to my room demanding that I tell her everything and that's what I did I told her about what happened in the office, how I came to know that he is my mate what I said and what he said and she was awing and saying how sweet all the time. Then I told her about the date and being the best friend she is she promised she would help me. She put on me some mascara and some lip gloss saying that I didn't need make up and that I was beautiful the way I am and I also liked to be natural I have never been keen on all of these makeup products. Then she straitened my black hair that now reached my butt. The dress was a simple white winter dress with black socks and a black coat that looked like a dress and I added some flat white boots, I wasn't very used to heels and I didn't know where we were going so it's better to be comfortable. I looked simple but beautiful at the same time.

"You look beautiful Sky. If I was Damian I wouldn't keep my hands away from you" July said smirking at me, is it the smirk at Skylar day or what?. I blushed at what she said and she just laughed at me.

"Thank you July, you helped me so much. What will I do without you"

"You will die of boredom" she said with a totally serious face that made me laugh even more and she joined me.

"Come on it's time now, I am sure Damian is already waiting for you downstairs" now I felt so nervous and my heart started to beat faster. I mean this is my first date what if I do something wrong or say something I shouldn't say.

"Calm down Sky. I am sure everything will be OK and you will have a great night" she smiled at me witch I returned "and don't forget to tell me everything when you come back"

Damian was waiting for me in front of the door wearing black jeans and a white pullover that hugged him perfectly and a black jacket on top, we matched perfectly. He looked so handsome his hair was styled messily it made me want to touch it so much. When he saw me his eyes widened for a moment looking at me up and down then stopping on my face, the look on his face told me that he liked what he saw, then he gave me one of his charming smiles and extended his hands for me.

"Shall we go princess?" I loved how he called me, he really made me feel like a princess. I took hid hand and we made our way outside.

"You look really beautiful"

"Thank you, you don't look bad yourself" I said playfully. Where did all this playfulness came from? It seems that Damian brought all the sides of me I didn't know I had. That only made it even sure that he is the only one for me, I would never change him for anything in the world. He is mine and I am his.

We climbed on his car and he started driving with some beautiful music on and with our fingers intertwined. Looking out the window at the beautiful night and thinking about our date I could help but think about everything that happened to my life, how much hurt and pain I was in and how much happiness and love I came to feel. And I wished to the Moon that nothing will come and take it away from me and I will fight for it I won't let anyone take away my happiness and the people I love.
