Moon Warrior

CHAPTER 17

Sky POV

"For those who doesn't know what is the Moon Warrior, the Moon Warrior is a supernatural being with the power of transforming in any supernatural species, with each form it can have one or more gifts and powers. They are stronger and faster in learning anything" I continued saying while looking at everyone and reading their minds. The most of them think that it's all a lie.

"Psh, as if you are the Moon Warrior. You are just a weak and pathetic slave. I am sure you have been telling lies so people would look at you differently and not as that ugly cow" Cindy said looking at me with arrogance and smirking thinking they all will believe her and not me. Well maybe the pack but they will change idea in about right now.

As fast as light I transformed in my vampire form and made a shield of energy around her body freezing her in place and then I lifted 3 meters from the ground. The shock in her face and in all the member of the pack was hilarious.

"Still thinking it's all a lie?" I said smirking at her. I should be angry at her disrespecting me but I stopped caring at what they said a long time ago even before running away. "If you still don't believe me, maybe I could shift into my witch form and transform you in a frog. I am sure it will suit you very well" and gave her an innocent smile.

The fear in her eyes and in all of the pack's eyes couldn't go unnoticed. Not only they feared me because I really was the Moon Warrior but also because they think I will get revenge on them for what they did to me. I don't have time for revenge and plus they aren't worthy, but if they try anything I would be more than happy to showing them what I can do.

I then released her making her fall to the ground and on her butt. I then proceeded to show them all my other forms and some gifts, I didn't want them to know all what I can do, I still don't trust them and maybe I will never do. A pack who treats badly one of their member is more than capable to betray other packs.

After my demonstration Byron told them about the last Royal vampires town and that all the other packs and covens had already accepted to go there and train all together. Alpha Conrad asked them if they accepted and they all said yes they didn't want to be the only pack left alone and they feared they would be an easy pray for the hunters if they stay alone.

The night was quiet and peaceful, after the meeting we all had dinner in the backyard, no one from the Dark Moon pack approached us and I was grateful for that. Sometimes I would feel someone watching me and when I look at them fear appear in their eyes and they look away.

"Did you see their faces? They can't not look at you with fear, it's like they are waiting for you to explode any minute now" Isabella said laughing and making all of us laugh with her. It's true the look in their faces is so funny who would have imagined that the people who looked at me with so much hatred and disgust would look at me with so much fear. Of course some of them like Cindy, father and Alpha still look at me with hatred but I could see the fear perfectly in their eyes.

"And did you see the look on that girl's face. She deserve what you did to her after what she said" Gabriella said looking with pride at me.

"Yeah guys that was my sister"

"Oh God really? That was the Cindy you told me about? What with her and treating her sister that way. I know you told me about how they treated you but seeing it with my own eyes is something else" Juliet said with wide eyes.

"Oh yeah and that was her father the beta of this pack. What a way to treat his daughter after not seeing her for so long" Justin said getting angry at the memory of when we were in the Alpha's office.

"Not to sound evil or anything but your family and this pack are really the worst. Maybe we should leave them alone and be killed by hunters" Dustin said getting angry too.

"I know Dustin I've seen even worse than this, but we have to help them they too are one of us and think about the children and innocent people, they didn't deserve to be left alone because of some stupid people" I said trying to make them understand.

"You're right. But I don't know how you can be so forgetful after all they did to you" Dustin said with a sad smile.

"I didn't forgive them or forget what they did but that doesn't mean I won't help them"

"You are so much better than them Sky. They don't deserve you" Ryan said smiling at me.

"Thank you guys" I said and we gave each other a very big tight hug.

That night I went to sleep happy thinking that I would see my baby and the boy I fell in love with tomorrow morning.

"Mommyyyyy you're baaack" Cody said running me and jumping on my arms. "I missed you soo much please don't leave me again" he said and hugged me tightly and I hugged him back as much as tighter.

"Oh my baby I missed you too! I promise I won't leave you again" I said and gave him a big kiss on his cheek.

"I love you mommy"

"I love you too baby" this little boy had taken already a big part of my heart, me and Notte already saw him as our own son and we loved him very much. "So tell me how have you been and what have you been doing all the time I was away"

And with that he told me everything from all the games he played with Sara and the others to how the teacher gave him an A+ in a math test. "And you know aunty Emily had her baby two days ago and it's a boy. They called him Tristan, he does very strange noises and sometimes milk come out from his mouth. Yesterday uncle Trevor was holding him and playing with him then Tristan through some milk from his mouth on uncle Trevor's hair. That was so funny" that made me laugh imagining Trevor's face.

"Oh really that sound really funny. I am happy you had so much fun" I wished I was there with him and when Emily gave birth to Tristan. "Where is your dad and Uncle Trevor and aunt Emily now? I still didn't see them"

"Dad is in his office, when I went to call him he was talking on the phone. Uncle Trevor and aunt Emily are still in the hospital"

"Thank you baby. I will go see your dad now to let him know that we are him and tell him what we did. After that we could go and play together and then go visit Emily and Tristan. What do you think?"

"Yeeess!! I missed playing with you mommy"

"Me too baby"

After one las t hug and a big kiss, I went to Damian's office. I don't know why but I felt so nervous and my heart was beating so loudly that I was afraid he would hear it. I entered his office trying to calm my self. Damian was still talking on the phone I presume with some Alpha, when he saw me he gave me his charming smile and mentioned for me to wait for him. I sat down on one of the black coaches and waited for him. After he finished the call he came and sat down in front of me on the other couch.

"I am really happy you all are back and I am sorry I couldn't come and greet you. Alpha Nathaniel had called me and I couldn't not accept the call"

"It's alright, you don't have to apologize"

"So how was your journey? I heard from the twins that three other people came with you"

And with that I told him everything from the packs and covens accepting our idea to the twins and Juliet finding their mate and also what happened with my old pack.

"That's wonderful I am really happy for the twins and Juliet. I will go and meet them after and we will also have a welcoming ceremony to add them in our pack"

"I also heard that Emily gave birth to a boy and they named him Tristan. I wanted to go and visit them after seeing you"

"Yeah they really are happy and he looks just like his mom with his white hair. Also Lisa seems to love him thank God, we were afraid she would get jealous of him since she too is still a toddler" he side with a happy smile "if you want, we could go there together. I was just going to visit them myself"

"Yes that's a good idea"

We stood up and we made our way to the door but before reached it Damian's arm brushed mine and I froze in place shocked, not for the sudden contact but with the powerful sparks and electricity that came with contact. But only mates can feel this type of sparks so how is that possible I already have one even if he rejected me. Wait a moment now that I think about it, the intoxicating scent, the strong want to be with him, the weakness in my knees when he look at me with that smile and now the sparks, that only means he is my mate, but how..

I looked at him and I was surprised because he didn't have the same look of surprise and shock that I had.

"You knew?" it was more than a statement than a question and from the look he gave me I knew the answer. "Since when?"

"Since the first time I saw you"

He knew that we were mate for a long time and he didn't tell me. Does that mean he doesn't want me? Of course why would he, he already had a mate and a perfect child. But I needed to ask.

"Does that mean you are going to reject me?" I asked and looked down, I couldn't look at his face when he answer me. Jack rejection hurted me very much but I am sure that Damian's rejection would kill me immediately, because I came to love him so much I couldn't imagine a life without him.

I felt his hand on my chin and he gently made me look up at him and said "Of course I want you Sky. I have wanted you since the moment I saw you, you can't imagine how much difficult it was to keep my distance from you. I wanted to hold you and kiss you every time I looked at you and I you were always in my thoughts"

I could see the truth in his word and what he said made my heart beat faster and my cheeks hotter. "Then why didn't you tell me?"

He looked at me and now I could see perfectly so much love in them. I don't know how I couldn't see it before.

"You were hurt and in pain, you had just been rejected so I didn't want to force our mate bond on you, I wanted you to come and accept me on your own. Then there was the Moon Warrior story and the arrival of the Council and you having to go on that journey. But I assure you that I accepted you the moment I knew you were my mate and I already fell in love with you not only because you are my mate but also because of how you are, your personality, your kindness, your laugh, everything about you. And it's hard not to fall for you Cody already loves you so much like his own mum and that made me want you even more"

The uneasiness and hurt I was feeling before has been replaced by so much love and happiness. "I love you too. Even not knowing what you were to me, I fell in love with you"

At my confession his eyes shined with so much happiness and love and he gave me a big smile. "Does that mean that you accept me?"

"Of course I do"

And with that he gave me a kiss filled with so much love and passion. That was my first kiss and it was something indescribable, it made me feel on cloud nine and felt like floating in the air.

It's so good to love and to be loved by the one you love.
