Waking up the next morning, a rush of memories flowed through my head. I remember everything happend yesterday. I remember talking to Martha at noon when she told me that she saw Truce and Mirth. At first I didn’t believe her because why would they come here looking for me after what I did to them? But then she told me that she saw them hanging around the house since the day I came back. She said that she talked to them and they told her how much they love me and how worried they are about me.
“Cora. I can help you get out. You can go back to them. But promise me that you will never come back. No matter what. If these peoples get their hands on you once again, they will make sure you can never see the light of the sun again.”
