Clover POV “Clo!!!” I look back and see my cousin Jennifer running towards me with full speed without stopping “JENNIEEEE!! STO!…” I can’t still can’t finish my word when she gushes at me making both of us fall down to the ground but I feel the most impact cause she on top of me. “Hehe” She giggled when seeing me rubbing my back due to the fall. “Stop giggling what do you want?!” I said with a groan and rub my poor back. “You should realize that I’m a midget and you are giant!” I said to her making she laughing even more “Oh come on you know that I like to tease people right?” I sighed when she said that with a goofy tone. Ariel starts to walk toward me to do my hair she combs it making them look neater. “Okay let’s get your makeup done!” Jennifer said and take one of her to make up brushes then put a liquid foundation on my face the start to even it out to cover my blemishes. Then set it the foundation on my face with setting powder and then she put a Natural eyeshadow tone to make me look less wearing make up then put an eyeliner with mascara to make it look even bigger. She finishes the look using a lip tint. Natasha chooses a plain t-shirt with a denim jacket and black leggings with converse shoes to complete the outfits. “done,” she said and everyone looks at me like an alien “Are you even the same person?” Ariel said snickers “Hey that’s rude,” I said while lightly hit her “Well we only have to wait for the…” Jennifer still haven’t finished with her word then Ding Dong! “Well speak of the devil,” She said and start to walk toward the door then open it revealing her boyfriend Xavier and wait…. Don’t tell me “Clover?” “Alfred?” we both say in unison then my face starts to turn red but then “HAHAHAHHA this is clover? She basically looks like a different person!” Xavier said I give him a death glare. Jennifer kick him at his balls making he scream and cry like a baby “What is that for?” He said while protecting his precious crouch. “Don’t bully my beloved cousin?” Jennifer said while pouting at her boyfriend. “Why the f**k you two set us up?” Alfred give the two oddly couple a death glare “Come on this is for your own sake” Xavier said while patting his back. Ariel and Natasha push me toward Alfred “You two need to get going” Ariel said and give us a soft smile. Then they close the door. I hear someone sighed then I look at Alfred. “You must have a rough time how about we go to the nearest cafe and talk?” I said then he just nodded sign that he agreed. We start to walk to the cafe that sells the best pancakes in that area. We enter the cafe and choose a sit that’s near the window. The young waitress start walking to us “What you would like today lovely couple?” she asks with a smile and we both gave that girl a blank face making the girl asks us again “Ah sorry you two are suit together so I misunderstood you two as a couple” She said. “That’s okay I take Banana pancakes with a strawberry shake,” I said and Alfred chooses a black coffee with chocolate pancakes. After the waitress takes the order and left then we both just sitting there awkwardly silence. “SOOO Xavier set you up?” I said to cut off the silence “ugh yes Jennifer and Xavier is so crazy on matchmaking people” he said then facepalm himself “I know right” I said to agree with his statement. “Well, what are we going to do after this?” I ask him. “Go out I gu..ess” he shutter and look at me “What?” I can’t hear what he trying to say “Go out on a date I guess,” he said while rubbing behind his neck. Then I blush a little bit then look away to make sure that he doesn’t see it. Then I look at him back. ‘well, he kinda cute?’ I thought to myself. The food finally arrived, to be honest, it’s not bad talking to him, to be honest, I thought he might be grumpy and hard to talk with. We start to eat our pancakes and continue talking with each other until all the food get devoured by us. “Clover, do you scared to fall in love with someone?” I shook when he asks me about this. “To be honest yeah I’m afraid to love someone” he looks at me “Why?” he asks again. “I don’t want to get hurt because of a man I have seen Jennifer suffer when Alex broke up with her last year she was heartbroken but then she met Xavier and get better. Then we arrive after a few minutes of walking we enter in the karaoke box to get a room. We go toward our Karaoke room number then take our sit. “Well, what song are you gonna sing?” I ask him excitedly then he looks at me “Actually you gonna sing first then I will sing after you” he said with a small smile. “Well okay then” I pick up the touchpad and choose a song ‘Dangerous Jessie J’. “well, here I go” I pick up the microphone and try to follow the rhythm of the song. -insert lyrics- After I sing the song then I hear Alfred clap his hand and smile at me making me blush a little and happy? “You have a wonderful voice Clover,” he said “Thanks,” I said and griping the microphone a little bit harder. “Do you want to be a singer?” He asks then I stun and start shaking. “No.,” I said with a sad tone. Alfred POV Just like what Xavier told me. She had no self-confident and keep everything by herself. “Why?” I ask her and she looks away “it’s your turn to sing Alfred,” She said passing the microphone at me. Well, I guess after I sing then. I take the microphone from her hand and choose a song from the touchpad and pick “See you again- wiz Khalifa”. Then I start to sing, to be honest, I had tone deaf so my voice is horrible. “SOOOOOO what do you think?” I ask her and she only covers her poor ears after a sudden storm attack by me. I giggled “Hmm no comment huh? I think I will be a good singer in the future” I said proudly and smirk at her. Clover starts to laugh like crazy and wipe her tear while her other handheld her stomach that feels the pain when laughing too much. “hell no you basically can make someone deaf in the future if you become a singer, Alfred!” She said while showing a bright happy smile. “I know you are afraid to become a singer Clover,” I said and give her a small smile. She looks at me confusedly. “But please be more confident don’t let others judge by your appearance to me you are beautiful and you have a wonderful personality. Is it great if you can be who and what you really want? They can’t take over you so fight it back and prove that you can do it cupcake” I said the go walk toward her. Then I hear she laughing “Cupcake seriously?” She said “Hey it suits you,” I said then pinching her cheek that makes her give me a death glare. “well your right,” she said smiling and finally become herself again. “let’s continue shall we?”I said and give her the mic, she takes it and starts singing.
