Against Fate

Augusts pov Soulmates.... we all have them, but my soulmate is my best friend. I'm an average 17 year old boy, i have shoulder length ginger hair and ruby red eyes. my best friend Roxy is 16 she's only a month younger than me. she dyes her hair a different color every week she also has baby blue eyes. sadly where soulmates but she likes this guy named Saturn i on the other hand have no interest in anyone.... yet. my name is August .A. Plútón (it's Pluto in Irish) and this is my story. [May 27th Friday at 9:30pm] "Hey Roxy" i say, she makes her way over "what's your soulmate mark" she asks tilting her head. "some sort of X" i say looking at it "what!?" she asks. pulling my rest towards her "where soulmates dude"she says dropping my rest and crosses her arms "you know if we find some other people who don't want their soulmate *Saturn* we could get you a new one" i said coughing the name Saturn. "oh my goodness your right!" she said, pulling me to her other friends, "hey Saturn" she grabs onto his arm "hands off" i hear a girl come up and yell pushing Roxy towards me, Amy the popular girl. "what's your mark?" Amy asks "a heart" he said sadly knowing hers is a heart as well "oh my Goodness where soulmates" Amy shouted, jumping up and down. "i don't want to be your soulmate"he says pulling away from her "sucks you can't just get a new one can you?" she says rolling her eyes "I can be your not soulmate" Roxy says playing with the rubber bands on her wrist "perfect" he says hugging Roxy all i hear for Roxy is a small squeak as she hugs him back. "hey Saturn find your soulmate that fast?" a boy with long blonde hair that's put up in a bun with emerald green eyes walks up. "sadly" Saturn says holding Roxy's hand "what who's that then" the boy asks "this is my girlfriend. Amy is my soulmate" Saturn replies Roxy leans into him. "oh who's your soulmate girl" i hear him ask "me" i say in a quiet tone. the guy looks over and his eyes widen, "oh yeah sorry Loky i should have warned you about August being here" i hear Saturn says winking hat Loky "how do you know my name" i ask. they just at each other and laugh "your one of the most popular boys in school" Loky says giggling " what!?" i say with a confused look "yeah, you're known as the 'Cute one'" Saturn says. i pull my hubbie up covering my now red face "oh" i mudder and walk over to Roxy "did you know about this?" i ask she nods and responds "why do you think so many girls ask for tutoring? or private lessons" Roxy says giggling with the other two, i soon feel a tug on my sleeve "if Roxy's with my soulmate then I'll be with hers" Amy says kissing my cheek, i push her away and "ew" come out of my mouth "don't kiss me please" i say as she runs off crying ".... i feel bad. i didn't mean to" i say looking down "hey? august don't worry about it" Loky says lifting my chin and giving me a reassuring smile "o.ok" i say with a red blush "hey August let's be friends with them" i hear Roxy ask. i nodded my head. after all my classes i go back home "hey dad I'm home" i say throwing my bag down as i walk into the kitchen "oh hey. what snack do you want today" my dad asks "ummm just this" i say picking up a apple "what's wrong" dad asks tilting his head "me and Roxy are soulmates" i say looking at him "well me and you father weren't soulmates" he says picking up a picture of Papa "i know that. but i don't think i like anyone.... oh yeah can my friends come over tomorrow?" i ask as i sit on the couch "of course. I'll start making dinner" he says as he starts dinner. {the next day} Augusts pov i wake up and slip on my slippers and take a shower. after i get out i dry my hair and put on my outfit for the day i walk down stairs to smell breakfast "morning dad" i say grabbing a coffee, he hands me some waffles and eggs. after a while we soon hear a knock on the door. "I'll get it" i yell running downstairs, i open the door to see Roxy and Saturn "where's Loky?" i ask as he pops out from behind them "hello cutie~" he says, my face goes bright red as i let them in "dad meet my new friends. Saturn and Loky" i say as my dad walks out of the living room. ...To Be Continued...
