The Devil's Best Friend Lives Nextdoor

"Hello, sorry if I'm early" I called out in the seemingly empty building looking for the housing agent. Its currently 8 am in the morning but the housing agent agreed for this time due to me having to be in work for 9.30 am. I'm sure I saw her walk in here when I was sat in my car not to far away from the house. Maybe I was seeing things as I have not slept properly in two days because of been too excited about viewing this house. Sleeping on my friends couch the past three weeks has become uncomfortable. With my new job as an assistant secretary I can finally become independent and not have to worry about where I'm going to be staying next. "Oh hello their, sorry I didn't hear you I was in the back of the house sorting through paperwork, may I ask your name please?" asked the housing agent "my name is Sian, Sian Woods" I replied nervously. "Hi Sian my name is Kimberly and ill be your housing agent this morning, if theirs anything you need while having a look round the place please don't hesitate to ask" she replied. As I walk from the passage through to the living room I'm trying to imagine what furniture ill have and how I will decorate the rooms. The passage is small but spacious would fit a coat rail and a shoe rack with still enough space to fit a side board in as well, in to the living room its a big room with enough room to fir a L shape corner couch plus a large swivel cuddle chair with a 50" tv on the fire place wall which then leads to the kitchen and dining room or to the staircase what leads to the 3 bedrooms, bathroom and attic. A big floor to ceiling window in the middle of the living room which looks out into the beautiful 60 foot garden with a built in swimming pool. In the kitchen its very modern with silver appliances already built in, white marble counter tops with white cupboards, grey wood effect floor with enough space to fit a large dining room table and chairs in, to a door that leads you to stairs which take you to the basement of the house which has white walls and a grey painted concrete floor that has an old furnace that looks like its not been used. Back up the stairs in to the living room and up the stairs their is five doors. First door is one of the smaller bedrooms which ill be turning in to an office. Second door is a slightly bigger room to the first which I don't know what I'm going to be doing with it yet. Third door is the master bedroom with an on suite which has a shower that I've never had in my life. Fourth door is the door to the large bathroom which is white through out apart from the grey flooring. Last but not least the fifth room which leads to an attic. I wander back down the stairs to find Kimberly to sign the agreement. Thanks to my new boss Damian that had to inspect my current living situation suggested on my first day of work he would help me find a house that I could call mine instead of sofa surfing, he offered to pay the rent for six month until I got on to my feet and saved up what I needed to be able to live properly not just surviving. Figuring out id have to find somewhere that I'm able to afford after Damian stops helping me pay my rent. With this new job I'm been payed a decent amount of money monthly which Damian said he could change to fortnightly for six month to help me. At just £600 pound a month for rent id be able to afford it by myself after the six month help is over with it leaves me with £2200 to pay my bills. Damian told me that after one year of working with him my income would change a lot then after every five year it increases a bit again which I am not going to complain about. I find Kimberly and we talk for about 30 minutes until she offers to walk me to my car. "I'll personally ring Damian and explain to him that your on your way to work and that its my fault it took so long" Kimberly suggests. *PING is all we heard causing me to jump not expecting to see I have a text message "I see that you are running late as now it is 10.15am, you must be overwhelmed with what has been going on in your life these past three weeks, take the rest of the day off ill pick you up at 7pm tonight, see you then". from Damian. "That's okay Kimberly but he's just text to say I can have the rest of the day of when could I come by your office and pick the keys up to the house" I asked shyly feeling my face turning a bit pink due to the text I just read. "You can pick them up in a week time if that's okay with you just the house is going to be getting a full deep clean ready for you moving in, would you like some one in to paint the walls and ceilings for you or are you wanting to decorate yourself?" Kimberly says in a high tone voice as I can see she's as excited as I am. "I'd like to decorate myself if that's okay, thankyou here's my number give me a call or text to inform me of picking the keys up" I replied. Kimberly giving me a hug and a smile before she walks towards her car. "Thank you so much, sorry I was running late me and Kimberly got talking about the house and when I could pick up the keys, what's happening at 7pm?" I replied after not getting a reply in 5 minutes I decide to sit in my car start the engine and drive back to my friends apartment where I've been staying.
