No bed could ever feel this warm or welcoming. I could sleep here for an eternity. I inhaled his scent deeply and smiled while listening to his heart beat before opening my eyes to see those black and blue flames still burning around us. I felt safe hidden behind them. I had no idea what they were and honestly, it didn't sound like Mathew knew either.
