Avalynn's POV
I stared at Steven, who was looking at me. I don't know what he might be thinking, but I saw that he was persistent in seeing Klaus. Steven nodded at the man and sighed.
“I want you to stay here. Please wait for me because I will talk to Dr. Klaus for now. Once I'm done, I will accompany you later.” Steven told me. He walked closer to the man and gave me a last glance before he followed the man.
After I saw that Steven wasn't in the room now, I couldn't stop myself from biting my lips because I wanted to see Dr. Klaus now. I wanted to talk to him and even plead with him to do Annabelle's operation, but if Steven were with me while I was talking with him, maybe, I would not say what I wanted to because I was worried that he might find out about Annabelle and Adam.
