Avalynn's POV
I did everything to follow Klaus wherever he might go. When he went to find a place in the park, I thought that was an excellent opportunity to talk with him.
I only wanted to talk with him about Annabelle's illness. I hoped he would help me as long as possible, and I was willing to do everything in return.
I glanced at my wristwatch and saw that I'd been following Klaus for almost two houses. His car went to the village, and I saw how the security greeted him. I stopped the car when I looked to the other side of the gate. I saw that they were checking everything, which made me not follow him up.
The inspection of every visitor in the village was so good, and I'm sure I couldn't get inside even though I tried.
