I woke up and jumped out of my glass bed. I went to the kitchen for a cup of water, only to be met face to face with Aerefio. He told me that I need to gain energy because I have been sleeping for two days. Realization dawned on me as I stared into his pale eyes. I don't know when I got violent, but I punched him in the face. Yes, I just hit an Elf. I hope I don't get put in jail for that. "You put me on a drug, and didn't tell me! Was it you that drugged me in the forest.?" He rubbed his jaw, "You would of said no if I asked. I needed you to get some sleep, or I would loose my job. As for the forest, this is a simple remedy, that the only time I have made you fall asleep. "Blueberries," I breathed. "Pardon." I did not know it was possible to get even more mad at him, as I looked at his confused face. He was hiding something. "You don't want someone to steal your job." This time something clicked in his eyes."Of course not.I need this job." I decided to dig a little deeper. "You have a competitor." "Why didn't you tell me that stalker was taking my job!" I smirked. I doubt whoever helped me would steal his job, or I would smell cinnamon blueberries all the time. I decided that all I am to Aerefio is a job, and I don't want to be anywhere near him. He was still yelling. "How long has this person been visiting you?" I glared at him. "You will not be anywhere in my extended life if you want to treat me like someone's pet that you have to keep alive before they come back!" He stalked off, slamming the door as he left, making the whole cottage rattle. I felt the pressure on my shoulders lift. Walking back into the kitchen, I found donuts on the table. I smiled to myself, and threw them in the trash. They were probably spiked with something. I walked to the store to get something to eat for breakfast. Inside, Chelsia was cleaning the counter. "Can I help you?" I don't have money, but I would like some breakfast." She looked puzzled. "But I thought Aerefio was supposed to feed you?" I was outraged."He said that?" she looked at me calmly,"It seems like something happened between you two." I stared at her. She said excitedly,"Spill." I told her the whole story, and she laughed. "He won't be coming back for a while. He went to the store a little bit before you came. He looked furious." She went behind the counter, coming back with oatmeal. We ate in silence, before Clause came in, telling me to get ready to meet our new leader. I ate the last of my oatmeal, before walking into the clearing. She was there and told me that I need to pick a profession. It has to be one where I can get money, preferably in the arts. I was excited. Back in my human days, I could play the saxophone really well. I love the feeling of being great at something. "Saxophone for sure." We went into a shed, where a little bit of everything was in there. Not only were there paint, brushes, and instruments, there were also Halloween decor, axes, shovels, seeds, and so much more. She took out a silver plated saxophone. What is with them and light colors? I had to practice it for two hours each day, and then I decided to train, just in case an Elf decided to take me away, or a Vampire. My ring has noticeably been glowing more now. I hope that doesn't mean mummies will start attacking me and eating my flesh. The queen has been giving me private lessons. So far, I have learned that Werewolves can easily find their mates by their scent. Foxes have it more difficult. We find them by touching them. If you feel something odd, you probably found your mate. Witches can also find them, but they are very expensive. We are created by mistake using the wrong stone, and that is about it. I have been avoiding Claude, and Chelsia because they are together, and I know Chelsia will try to talk me into talking to Claude. I stepped into my room, and plopped down on the bed. I was so tired. I knew that I had to eat first. I have a whole bunch of food in my pantry since I don't want to talk to Claude and Chelsia. June knocked on the door. I can see her because the door is glass. I hate how almost everything is glass. I told her to come in. She came with pizza. I love pizza. She walked over to the table, and dropped it on the table. I eagerly threw open the box, excited when I saw it was human pizza, and sausage. "Where did you get this?" She smiled,"I just learned that just on the other side of the trees, is a city. We dug into the pizza. The droopy cheese was a little salted, and the sauce had basil. It was so good. We talked about traditional gossip, which was about what the queen did when she leaves us to go somewhere. She then left, and I went to bed exhausted. I woke up in the middle of the night from a bang. I jumped up. A hooded figure was standing in my room, staring at me. A gun was in his left hand, pointed at me. I whipped up the saxophone case, which had the saxoplhone in it, and put it in front of me. A bang sounded again, this time it embedded itself inside the case. Jumping at him, I swung the case in a perfect ark, knocking into his head. I may have done it a little too hard, but I was too focused on the next figure shooting at me. I went on a rampage blocking, and swinging the case. I hit another figure, when the window shattered, and I felt pain and pressure in my shoulder. I fell, and again, my vision went blank.
