If anything, Hannah was even more excited about what Poppy had found by the river than I was. She was convinced the chain had to be connected to the drowned woman, since Poppy had come across it on the river bank right where the body had been discovered. Although Hannah was eager to see the chain and pendant for herself, we agreed it was best not to handle it again.
