Chapter 7- Meeting Him

"Wait what the f**k?!!!!", I exclaimed.

"That f*****g piece of s**t Alpha is your Uncle??"

"Yes. Anyways, my name's Diana", she replied.

"That's so messed up. Ugh, I'm Alexa and right now you need to get out of here. The Alpha King's patrol guards could be here anytime. They would've caught these asses' blood's scent by now. Let's go to my place", I said and grabbed her hand and we walked out of the alley.

However seems like lucky wasn't on my side today, because couple of the patrol wolves were already here. So we sneaked out of there but apparently when we reached near the library entrance, I failed to see a very worried and pissed Ryan standing outside along with a few higher ranking wolves giving orders. Oh, I know they were high rank wolves because of the commanding vibes and aura they were giving.

Ryan seemed to be in the middle of some important talk when all of a sudden he stopped talking and sniffed as if he caught someone's scent. Meanwhile, next to me Diana seemed to be doing the same thing and then she just started walking towards Ryan and the group.

I followed her and whispered, "Uh, wrong way Diana..." but before I could say anymore, Ryan also walked towards us and just stared at her. A few minutes went by, with them staring at each other so affectionately.

I awkwardly walked up to them and broke the silence, "So uh.. Ryan what are you doing here?"

He didn't reply. Infact it was like I wasn't even standing there.

I snapped my fingers in between them and shouted "Uh hello... Earth to Ryan, what are you doing here?".

Luckily this got them out of their daze and they both turned their attention towards me, still giving each other shy side glances.

"Uhhhhh.. we were here because of the wolf scents that we got. But seemed like someone already got to them before us. What are you doing here though?" Ryan answered.

"Wait is that blood on your shirt?", Ryan asked.

I looked down and noticed that there was actually blood on my white shirt. I really should've gone with the red shirt today, I thought to myself.

"Yes...",

"You also have blood over you and you are injured as well!" Ryan cut me off, while turning towards Diana.

He quickly called for Medic and started to tend to her.

"Were you both there at the alley right now?!" He asked.

"Yes. They had attacked me and were dragging me when Alexa came and saved me." Diana explained.

"Alexa saved you?! But she's just a witch whereas those wolves were injured by someone with assassin level of combat training.", Ryan inquired.

Before Diana could say further, I interrupted her and said, "Yeah. Diana's probably scared and dizzy from all the bloody loss, so she saw wrong. I simply just used sleep magic to attack and then ran away with her. How could someone like me be that psychically strong to hurt wolves!?"

"Exactly, anyways are you hurt as well?" He asked.

" No no I'm fine, just look after her." I said.

Ryan nodded and then turned his attention back on Diana.

I casually asked him, "I get it that you're a healer in the pack but why would a healer be with the higher ranking wolves giving orders? "

Before Ryan could answer my question, one of the wolves, came rushing to his side and said, "Beta, Alpha King is here."

I snapped my head hearing this, towards that wolf who just spoke.

*What???!!!!! Beta? Alpha King's Beta????? What the Hell!*, I thought to myself.

All the wolves including Ryan got serious, like how anyone would react when they're kind arrives. But instead of processing the fact that Ryan is the Beta of the Current Alpha King's Cresent Moon Pack, my attention was completely drawn towards this amazing smell that completely enchanted me.

It was such an amazing smell that I closed my eyes and just tried to inhale and be intoxicated with that scent. It was like the smell of wet grass after first rain mixed with fresh ocean water. I felt completely drawn towards that smell and before I could even know what I am doing. I found myself walking towards the smell until it felt like it was right in front of me. I slowly opened my eyes and there was a tall, extremely handsome man standing in front of me.

Dark brown hair swept back probably with some styling gel like a proper sexy formal style. His eyes were turquoise blue. Sharp features and a stubble beard. He literally looked like a model or an actor who came straight out of a fairytale or a movie. Well Supernaturals are already more charming than humans but this hunk in front of my eyes was nothing less than a Greek God.

Damn I could easily see how strong and fit he is just by looking at his bulging arm even though he's wearing a Dark blue Turtleneck sweater and an even darker blazer on top of it.

The second our eyes locked. I heard Seph say, *Mate*

I just blinked hearing that. Completely out of my daze now.

'MATE'.

That's why it was two of my favorite scents.

What a luck I truly have. I finally found my mate near such a gruesome bloody scenery. I laugh mentally at that.

It seemed like he was about to say something, when I heard Ryan say, "Alpha, we finally found the intruders. But it's not the rouges however it's a bloody scene at the moment....."

I didn't even hear what he said ahead because I was just stuck at his words, 'Alpha'? As in the Alpha King?????

I mind linked Seph, *Oh f**k me, our mate had to be the Alpha king of all people and that too, he had to meet at a time when I'm supposed to be incognito and hidden. I f*****g can't draw anymore attention. We need to leave.*

*But we just found our mate and he would be heart broken if we leave right now*, Seph whimpered.

Suddenly everyone went still and complete at attention and sniffed the air. Even I felt a presence and movement around.

*Rouges*, Seph exclaimed.

Everyone formed a circle with the Alpha at the centre. They all got ready for the attack and so did I.

But a moment before they attacked I realized that Diana was injured and near the library gate whereas we were at the front of the street.

*We need to protect her!*, Seph said.

So instead of staying there. I bolted towards Diana to protect her. I heard someone call out to me from behind but I ran towards the library anyway.

By the time I reached her, the Rouge wolves had already started attacking. So I dodged one and made my way to Diana.

She was standing near the entrace of the library. Since she was still injured and healing now, it wouldn't be possible for her to defend herself from these rouge wolves.

In general rouge wolves are stronger and faster than normal wolves because unlike a normal werewolf who retains his human side and stays in pack to keep their sanity intact, a rouge wolf is one who is packless and just roams in the wilderness and their wolf side is more stronger since they stay in their wolf form most of the time.

I have fought with rouges before along with my Atlantean troops but this maybe my first encountering such a large number of rouge wolves attacking together. Infact it does seem weird, since rouges don't go around in packs and such huge number is normally of some pack.

Once I reached her, I grabbed her hand and entered the library, weirdly it was still open this late. As soon as we entered I incanted, "Vis Sera Portus" and the doors were sealed shut. Seph wanted to go and help her mate and his pack but I knew they were more than capable to handle a rouge attack.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford came running towards us, upon hearing the door being shut.

Mr. Clifford said, "Are you both ok? What is going on? We were told some wolves attacked so Ryan asked us to stay inside and someone would protect the entrance."

He looked at us both and saw the blood stains and said, "Are either of you injured? Why is there blood on you both?"

"We're fine, Henry. There was a group of pack wolves who attacked her", I said while pointing at Diana. "Long story short, I saved her. We got back met Ryan. Alpha King came and then a large number of Rouges attacked. So I bought her here to protect her. I hope you don't mind."

They both nodded their head. Mrs. Clifford then said, "You did a good job bringing her here. We're safe here."

As if on cue, the door bursted open and a 3 rouges entered. I stood in front of Diana and Mr. & Mrs. Clifford, all ready to protect them. Luckily before they could attack, the Alpha King along with Ryan and another wolf entered. The Alpha King grabbed one of the rouge and literally threw him to the other side. While a 4th rouge, broke in from one of the windows at the back and aimed right towards Diana. I reacted quickly and magically drew my sword out and slid under him when he jumped at us and thrust my sword inside his torso. He died there and then. I pushed him aside from on top of me and Diana helped me up.

The Alpha King ordered us to back up inside the library, so we all went in at the same time, another rouge wolf broke inside and encircled us.

He was larger than others. And somehow he telepathically spoke, "Protecting her will just be futile. Hand the Esarosa over to us."

* How the hell, can this rouge telepathically communicate?! Rouges are literally like animals so why is he so different. And Why the f**k are rouges behind this Esarosa as well??? She's is one of our kind and like hell will I ever give her to these piece of s**t dogs*, Seph mindlinked me.

"What the f**k! You're a wolf? How can that be?" That huge Rouge, spoke again, looking straight in my eyes.

I stared back at him being utterly shell-shocked.

What the actual f**k? How the hell did he feel Seph? Esarosa's can completely hide their scent from other wolves and no one can know unless we want them too. Plus I have also used an enchantment to conceal my identity, so how the f**k did he know?
