Anna’s POV A month ago. I burst into the principal's office, my heart pounding in my chest. "Where is my daughter?" I demanded, panic making my voice sound shrill. "What do you mean she didn't show up this morning?" The principal looked up from his desk, his expression grave. "Please, calm down, Mrs," he said, his voice soothing.
