Tessa’s POV
“This case goes to Tessa,” the judge said with a straight face, “you have suffered a lot of injustice, not just from your cheating and lying husband but from the woman he was with. They tried to rob you of your rights illegally,” I smiled.
There’s a lot of murmurs in the background while some cheered me and a lot more booed me.
William must have been absolutely broken judging from his reaction to the judge’s verdict, I’m happy I won but on the other hand it kind of hurts seeing bitter tears roll down William’s tears. There was a time I’d burst in tears seeing William this broken.
Isabella fumed up in the corner of the court and I caught a glimpse of William’s mother’s death stare. It was the perfect look to confirm the phrase “it looks could kill.”
