William’s POV The anger was like a physical weight on my chest, crushing the air out of my lungs. I couldn't believe that Roland, of all people, was the one who had betrayed me. I stormed out of Roland's house limping, he called after me, but I ignored him. I could hear his footsteps behind me, but I kept walking, my anger driving me forward despite my injuries.
