Robert’s POV
Since this morning, I've had this nagging sense of unease, like a whisper in the back of my mind warning me that something was off. Alfred, who just emerged from a coma with no memories, was already a concern, but now Tessa, who’s my fiancée for the next two days before becoming my wife, was acting strange too. She'd been quiet and distant, and when she left this morning, she didn't even bother to tell me where she was going. That wasn't like her at all.
To make matters worse, Riley and Luke, those bullies, had roughed me up just days ago over my plans to marry Tessa. Now, they were ghosting me, and I had no idea what they were plotting.
