Derek’s POV It's been 48 hours since I've had a proper meal or a good night's sleep. My stomach is growling, and my body aches from lack of rest. I'm tired, hungry, and scared. I don't know how much longer I can keep running from the cops. My head is spinning, and I can't think straight. All I know is that I need to keep moving, to stay ahead of the law. But I'm not sure how much further I can go. My legs are heavy, and my eyes are starting to blur. I stumble over a tree root, and I fell critically, falling straight into a partial coma.
