Marcus got to his house and could not find his keys. He could just break the door down and enter but he needed it because the key to his office in the grey mansion was attached to his house keys. He knew he had it on him when he visited Edna, so he must have dropped the key in her house. He did not want to go back there and deal with her begging and whining. The dragon thought she could seduce him. She must have thought he was like Boyce; he had shown her. He stood at his door for a while, contemplating going there. He wanted to send someone there but he felt it would be cowardice on his part and Edna would think she still had a hold on him and that was why he didn't come to pick his keys up by himself.
